Just got in the mail some sugar cookie, Captain crunch berry, rice krispy, creamy caramel, peanut butter, apple pie. Can someone suggest a good mix for the rice krispy and captain crunch berry? The captain crunch berry seems a little too fruity seems to lack the cereal. It's not steeped so not sure if it needs to wait, mixed at 10%. Tactical, what are your mixes for these flavors? Thanks

here are my current flavors that I have from OoO: Raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, coconut, sweettarts, and blackberry. Can anyone recommend any recipes to try with these flavors? So far I have tried Strawberry+coconut, sweettarts (alone), and raspberry+sweettarts.
I also have Bavarian crème, but that is a TFA flavoring.

Thanks

Sugar Cookie is very light, so 10-18%, despite being a wide range, is about where it needs to be. I'm not a huge fan of this one just due to it being so light. Others may love it, but my palate likes strong, intense flavors.

Captain Crunch & Berries mixes well at 10-12%, Rice Krispies at 10-14%, Creamy Caramel 10-12%, Peanut Butter at 10-12% and Dutch Apple Pie is best, for me, at 15%. IMO, DAP needs time to steep/age. It's pretty good freshly mixed, but after 7-14 days it's even better.

Raspberry & Strawberry are pretty good, as is Blueberry. I use them more as mixers as opposed to single flavors as I like more complex and layered flavors. For single flavors, start with about 8% and work your way up. TPA's Bavarian Cream is a good addition in lower %'s. Don't mix it too high or it may overpower the blend.

Does any know if this is the flavoring KickBass uses? And I hope they get the prices under control, they are all over the place and you can tell what is the big sellers because he has them priced higher

I know they service quite a few dealers, though I don't know which ones and they most likely won't say as that'd be a conflict between the two businesses. I've never tried KickBass' flavors, so beyond looking at names and taking a guess, I couldn't tell ya :).

I'm working on my own version of Rice Krispy Treats but it's not where it needs to be right now. I've been so busy testing over 100 flavors that I've barely had the time to get back with it :). Hoping to be able to soon, though I can tell you this, it's a stronger flavor on it's own than it is in a mix, so other flavors can easily overpower it.

While I may mix it at 10-14% on its own, I stick with those percentages in blends as well; it's hard to reduce them because the flavor is what I'd call fragile. If you blend it with weaker flavors, like marshmallow, whipped cream (not a OOO flavor - this one is from TFA) and other flavors, then you can mix a little lower, but 10-14% is both single and mult-flavor.

I don't find the cap'n crunch berry to be too fruity. The cereal is very present in my mix. I went with 5% at first but it was too weak. Went to 6.5 and it was still a tad weak. My next mix will be 8% I think that will be where I want it.

10-12% is really where it's at with the crunch berries flavor. I have some I mixed a little over a month at ago at 12% and it's really good, but it could drop to 10% and still be just as good.

Good to know. Thanks. I'll jump straight for ten next mix.

So I mixed up some red starburst at 3% and it's a bit weak. 5 or 6% will likely be the magic number for me here.

The flavor is interesting. You really get the taffy flavor. More than I was expecting. Never realized it when I ate starburst but damn if it's not taffy-ish. The cherry flavor..well I'm still deciding on if I like it. More steep is required maybe. It's reminding me of gummy bear and what I perceive as a mediciney taste.

Speaking of gummy bear my 1.6% recipe is pretty good. The individual flavors tend to come out a but more rather than just the cherry when I had it at 5%. But ultimately the medicine flavor is still present. I'll probably bump it up to like 2-2.5% and call it a day.

My favorites will likely remain Rainbow Sherbet and Sweet Tart. RS is my JAM. and ST is incredibly authentic. While many flavors are good, great even, those will be my mainstays.

Some shoutouts do go to cap'n crunchberries, skittles, green apple, blueberry, sweet baco, cookies n cream, and the choco mint one. Some day when I'm not lazy ill use those in combo with other flavors. But right now I'm just trying to do 1-flavor mixes.

Kemosabe, what are you mixing the RS at?

5%. That's what I enjoy it at and everyone I've mixed some for (4 other people) like it very much too. Killer vape IMO. I hope you like it as much as we do.
I've done it at 50/50 and 70/30, both ratios are excellent in their own regard.

update on my gummy bear:

very pleased to report that the medicineyness has pretty much faded into non-existance. the 1.6% flavoring mix after an additional night steep (cap off) is damn near perfect. im going to bump it up to 2% just for round numbers' sake. i also think the mix can use some Tart & Sour and a touch of EM/cotton candy flavoring. but after those tweaks, i expect myself to commence jamming on my gummy bear. im glad i didnt give up on this one! :vapor:

Heres a tidbit about rice crispies treats...

I have only had my rice crispies steeping a week+ but it has good flavor now, compared to 2 days steep... Im just messing around with my rda, and put a few drops of my bavarian cream test batch in with the rice crispies, and its very good!!!

Maybe it will help someone try a mix, I know I will eventually... but i have 15 other flavors from WL(13 tfa, 2 la) to make test batches of.

Just got captain crunch w/ berries, rainbow sherbert and gummi bear... anyone have good % to mix these at? i like strong flavors (nothing too much as i know it diminishes flavor and ruins it)

Thanks!

It's always best to start with 5ml samples and start at 5%. Most of the flavors you can go up to 10-15% before the flavor hits a wall (as with most flavors), but starting small keeps waste down and from there you can make small adjustments.

I mixed gummy bear at 12% and it's very good. 12% seems to be the percentage I like the most when using One on One flavors.

I have Blueberry Cotton Candy, Butter Pecan Ice Cream, Big Red, Toasted Marshmallow, Gummy Bears and Bubble Gum.....all at 12%

The Pina Colada was to strong for me at 12%...will try it at a lower percentage around 8%-10%.

5% is perfect for me on the Rainbow Sherbs. My favorite OOO flavor by far. My favorite DIY in all my years as a matter of fact.
Cap'n w/ Crunchberries was weak for me at 6.5%. I expect 8-10% to be good as per Tactical and my own experience.
The gummy bear for me was a very strong flavor. 2% max does the trick. Add a bit of EM (ethyl maltol / cotton candy flavoring) and a dash of sour (1 drop per 3ml of em & sour) equals the sweet spot for me. Ymmv.

I'm going to place an order with these guys soon. Anybody know of any good coupon codes to use? I'm awaiting my FB code, but thought I would check if any others are out there.

That I know of, the Facebook code is the only one available. You could get in touch with them to see if there's anything available to first-time customers, but other than that, Facebook only for the time being :)
