Anyone interested in Zenith RDA V2 Pre-orders?

My BF pin holes were out of alignment as well. I also had trouble getting the 510 to thread onto some of my mods, it didn't want to thread all the way down on my devices that use FatDaddy 510's...so I gave it more oomph than I normally would (think PlumeVeil), and now it threads just fine. I'll try it on my Hana and Shotgun mod later and report back.

I have many things that thread a little hard the first time. That cleans any little burrs left from machining.

It screws on my Hana and Shotgun just fine. The silver replacement screw needed a little oomph as well, but screwed in just fine and sits just as flush as the BF screw. The wire holes are lined up just fine, but the bf holes in the deck are way, way off center, much worse than those pictured by a fellow member earlier. This isn't a huge deal for me as I have no BF mods, but it's definitely unfortunate given the possible upcoming additions to the Zenith, although i bet it still functions fine. As long as it works well after I build it, I'll prob call it a wash and live with it.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that was the issue in my case, threads smoother now, and I'm sure it'll turn to butter in a few days.

As someone posted earlier, the bf holes on the center post don't really need to face straight out. As long as they feed juice to the deck, that's all that should matter to function correctly.

Guys I literally can't get it in for the life of me. I've had 3 people try, I can't get it into my mcr, a sir Lancelot and a vanilla. I bought lithium grease... No luck. I even held the atty with a vice grip and it won't even twist

maybe try the tap/die or sandpaper trick. Mine only works on a few mods too. Threads look good. Maybe they are too high. Not sure what to tell you.

I guess my only concern was perhaps it wouldn't soak both sides of the cotton evenly, being off center. Not a biggie for me though as I don't own a BF mod, and it'd prob still work fine anyhow.

its the most irritating thing ever. waiting so long for this just to fail out of 4 mods, i could only get it to fit into a king clone. AND my friend who owns a shop, got the zeniths in as well (but theres a black delrin on the top) and they dont fit on any mod either. hes tried tons of different mods and some he could forcefully jam in and others he just couldnt get it.

Have you tried yours on a REO by chance just to see if it threads well with the 510 connection?

i dont own a rio. it didnt work on any of the mods i own, or any of my friends mods. only a clone king at my local b and m.

Isaac contacted me and he is sending me a new ring. He was super prompt. I dont blame him at all. It was the quality control from Zenith. I am never going to buy from them again but I will buy from Isaac again. Like I said, its not his fault. Isaac gave me the option to return the whole thing, but I am keeping it since the rest of it was minor. It still should have been perfect for this price.

Haven't seen mine yet but it arrived, my brother signed for it and then left town for the weekend. Hopefully when I meet up with him tomorrow I can take some pics. I really want this thing to work on my xxix, but I have options. Really hope mine didn't get botched, but then again I am optimistic. So glad this is finally over(hopefully). Vape on everyone.

Alright guys, Isaac is sending me replacement Z2.5 and I told him to open the box on next one and try it on something. Just in case that second one doesn't want to go in on my mods I found a solution. its called amazon.com and these is what you will need. 7mm X .5 High Speed Steel Round Die 1" OD and DS-1 Die Stock for 1" diameter round dies. I thought $20.00 investment for possible future male 510 problems couldn't hurt. So you all know what I'll do in case next one doesn't fit

I just got mine and tried it on several things, among them a Reo Grand LP. Does not fit.

Edit: Things it did work on: Atmizoo Roller (Authentic); Sentinel Brass M16 Clone (Fasttech); Panzer Blackhawk Clone (Shenxi); King Clone (Fasttech);Manhattan Brass (Authentic)
Things it did not work on: Pegasus Clone (Vapetech); GP Paps SS v3 (Authentic); Origen Clone (Ehpro); Nemisis SS Clone (Hcigar); Nemises Copper Clone (Hcigar); Reo Grand (Authentic) {Edit 2: Bay City XXIX (Authentic)}

Some of the things it did work on did not thread easily but would thread. I have not tried forcing anything and I don't plan to.

This is supremely disappointing and I intend to see the problem corrected.

I agree about Isaac being trooper. I hope that Carlo from CMII will be as generous to Isaac as he is to us and correct everything on their end.
