These folks started checking on people and won't sell to vapers. Also, their product is not heat treated. In theory, you can do this yourself; but I don't. There is an "organic sizing" on the Nextel which is NOT to be ingested, proper kiln treatment is recommended. It is my personal opinion that we should not cause undue "stress" on the industrial community, as our community is starting to have a footprint out there. We have already experienced positive cooperation from various manufacturers and distributors of such products as batteries and silicas. I don't think conning those distributors who don't want to accommodate us is prudent as we are still making our first impression on a variety of commercial, government and industrial cultures.

TMI? . . . oops.

Oh Cr@P!! Just when I thought Fear factor safety mongles are lurking about I trip over what may be [not a 100% sure] FACT that sets me back in my chair. This is a little spooky in such that DIY could be a no no...

I sleuthed the net for more info, there is a showing of fear amongst the factory owners so I bumped into this report.
I am not sure I want this but my conspiracy anti-nanny radar was in full tilt until now.

I edited the post and wiped it out. My Irish motor mouth got the best of my fingers.

Read this ;

Especially disturbing is the part about fibers AFTER treatment, yuk, Wish I knew more about Chemistry, how much is too much , and if wet with cig juice is it at all a worry? I don't know these things.
My brother the potter is NOT going to want this in his kiln oven thats for sure. He makes dishes and cups people eat and drink out of.

I don't get it. Where's the issue? Is it the possible mechanical irritation of nose and throat?

BTW: I read that ↑ before ever trying Nextel, and I've read it 4 times since, and I don't see a problem. Purely anecdotal here; but, I've been using it exclusively for 2 months and have had no irritation, cough, runny nose or any other problems.

I should add that i have not found any fine particulates in my atty (like I did with stone), nor discoloration/sediment in my tanks (like I did with ss mesh), nor undue fraying or "decomposition" (short of giving it a long full blast with a propane torch, which can produce a flame @ 3,600 F.)

Lastly, I would say that I don't want anyone to make health decisions based on my rantings. These are my personal opinions and anecdotal experience. Make your own choices, choose wisely. ;)

yeah, I don't experience that. I do, however, clip a bunch of tiny, short clippings onto a mirror and snort it.

Seriously, tho, short of reading up on the health report, this all becomes rather subjective. Don't NOBODY use this stuff just because I do! Think, read, be skeptical and make your own choices about your own body!
