Or it just may be that people can't spell. That's it, they're artists! Creative spelling. I'm an engineer. That's my excuse. For engineers, English is a second language. (if not a third or fourth)

But I always have an image of them walking around with this giant ratty wooden thing in their mouths.

people can't spell... never occured to me. The "creative use" of their/there/they're doesn't really appeal to me, but people should be allowed to express their (or there/ they're?) artistic sides, so I guess I should just accept it for what it is

I paint from time to time and I usually end up walking around with a brush in my mouth without noticing (since I only have two hands) :D

I originally intended to stop vaping when I started. I've since come to believe that there may be some benefits to nicotine. I've read that it may help prevent Alzheimer's disease and helps with memory. That, combined with the fact that it's safer that smoking, I think I'll keep on going. The only thing that would stop me is if it becomes unaffordable.

Asking this here is probably like swearing in church :D - I'm just curious

I have stopped vaping now.

I never started vaping for it to be a "hobby" I simply wanted to stop smoking.

I weaned myself down to 2mg over the past year and simply decided to stop Sunday afternoon.

Wow! Good job! How's that going for you? I guess going zero helped. I just don't think I can not fiddle with something and vaping helps me in that way. As I type this, I have my PV in my other hand (on an iPad so one finger typing is normal) just tapping on my PV and taking a hit now and then.

If I was still smoking, a cig would be in that hand.

That is super !

How are you doing so far ?
I am down to around 3-5mg, use a lot of 0mg...but...Kind of afraid to even go completely 0mg...much less just stop.
(I never intended to stop smoking cigarettes anyway - I just did)

No for two reasons:

1) I didn't start it with the intention of ever quitting smoking, that just happened as a result of loving vaping.
2) The MAIN reason I would not quit vaping (even if you took away the I love it factor) is I managed to quit smoking without e-cigs about 20 years ago for a period of time that lasted about 2 years! ONE lapse that came from a craving that was a result of a big stress period in life and I was back to full on smoking immediately (you start at the same level or higher than you quit at, not like starting over from a newbie smoker). So in order to never risk such a backslide, I will just continue to do what I consider to be a much healthier alternative. I know a lot of people are leery of saying it is a HEALTHY choice becuase of all the politics and bs going on nowadays, but I DO believe that. Even if it were still some risk, it's a hell of a lot less risky than those nasty coffin nails we KNOW are a big hazzard.

Everything is going fine. I have been carrying my rig just in case, but haven't felt stressed enough to need it.

No withdrawals or anything, no problem sleeping, so far so good.
