Now that my main set up has changed to the Riva, I'm again looking to do something unique with it. The nice part is that it doesn't have a .... that lights up like my others, the down side is if I do something with the end of it I want it to sit flush so that I can stand it up.

Does anyone know or have a dead one they want to take apart or send to me for di-section?

Thanks, Vicki

i have taken apart 2 riva batteries...they are really simple same idea as the standard 510 except there are 3 LEDs around the switch and the metal case is used as a negative(thats why we have the ego-no-reaction-to-the-charger-syndrome)...other than that they are the same...well except for the 650-1300mah battery compared to a 125mah standard...if you open it at the top where the battery connection meets the case you can look inside your ego with minimal damage...you just need a piece of foil to act as solder for the negitive connection on the end...
