Am curious if anyone has tried these before I splurge and pickup some.

Not yet, but I really want to. The Notch coil and the Mask coil, (from Horizon Tech), are both coming on the market now.

Honestly, I don't see how you could go wrong with either one. They're stainless, (TC mode is great), provide more surface area than anything else their size, and since they're machined, (rather than twisted wire), it seems like they should have a very long life.

Im interested in seeing if some mods will read it as a error or short. I dont see a start or finish point (positive to negative). Another thing is the soldering of the legs, why not just have continuous legs machined in, why soldered legs?
Also thinking If a heavy handed pulled to tighten the leads the legs might come off. Idk I'm just thinking out loud.

It's not a Clapton. Just SS notched coil. Looks pretty sturdy from the reviews I've seen and surprisingly it has a very low ramp up time for such a massive coil.

Then a ceramic

Ceramic is probably the best flavor I have ever vaped, used to do the fc2000 wicks a few years back and they were terrific. These new ceramics take it to another level because you don't have to worry about breaking them, the only thing now , because I'm used to more of a TH, the ceramics are too smooth imo.

I hope we end up seeing different diameters with this style of coil - at 5-6mm (or more) I don't even have the real estate in any of the equipment I own to stuff one of these in there.

2.5 to 3mm would be perfect for me - don't know if it's possible though - It's my understanding that the coil is so large so as to increase it's resistance.

That's what the diameters are going to be, 4 or 5 mm?
