The aluminum post ones were Boge cartomizers. The SLBs are different by design, but seem to smoke just the same to me.

We weren't aware that the cartos would be SLB until they were already on the way...or I would have cancelled the order just for the fact that they weren't what we got last time. There is a lot of "shifting around" in China right now so it's a bit of a mess to get the right stuff. We're talking to the "right people" at the moment and will have some new goodies available soon.

Are you having much luck with that 5v......huge mah battery?

If a tester is needed, I know one in Indiana that would be more than happy to do it. :toast:

We got more 510 cartomizers last night.

I do want to be straight up with you as always. These are not the same as the last batch we sold which had the aluminum connectors. These are made by SLB (Sailebao) and have a brass connector. They do still have the rubber removable cap for easy refilling. I've smoked 2-3 today and see no difference in the vape on these versus the others.

Go get 'em.

Thanks
Rob

I am absolutely in LOVE with my 510 cartos. Your shipping is super-fast, Rob, thanks! The 20 I just received will allow me to fill with a huge variety of juices. I, too, am finding that they last a very long time. I've refilled the ones from my original order at least five times and they're still going strong. Woo Hoo!

Rob,
Super fast shipping! Thank you! Got the new cartos...there's also a second silicone ring inside these and the filling is different. Haven't noticed the snap, crackle and pop in these and the vapor is most excellent from the very first draw. Very impressed with these. And as always, VERY impressed with your customer service! Thanks for the Pepsi ;) I handed out two of your cards today with a glowing review to each person. Hope you get more business.
Be well!

I got some of the old ones a few weeks ago, much much better than standard KR808 ones, yesterday I got a pack of the newer ones in the mail. I have to say I prefer these ones over the ones I got a few weeks ago. Going to have to put an order in for a couple of packs before they're all gone :p
As always, shipping was incredible!

I'm kinda starting to think the same thing myself. I've noticed these aren't as noisy as well.

Been on these a few days now...things I've noticed: excellent vapor from the first draw. Not a lot of snap, crackle and pop. Will hold 40 drops with condom and spin filling method. All good things...but...some con things as well: Might just be my taste buds, but these seem to change the flavor of my liquids just a bit. Flavor is a bit lacking in these compared to the Boge...again, could just be me. And I'm getting to the "dry taste" much sooner in these versus the Boge. That could be because the draw is a bit tighter and these produce more dense vapor. At any rate, these are good, but in my opinion the Boge are better for flavor and I hope that if you continue to carry the SLB's that you will ALSO carry the Boge's to give us a choice. :)

Having tried both now, I have to agree; the 'dry' taste comes sooner. I vote for Boge.

The cartomizer draw really is more dependant on the device it is being used on. If you'll take a look at a standard 808D-1 cartomizer you can literally look right through it. These 510 cartomizers are the same. The air'y'ness (Trademark pending LOL) comes from the device connector and how much air it allows to pass to the cartomizer connector through the center and in the sides of the threads. You can take a toothpick and break the tip of it off in the side holes and tighten the draw up some.

I have been vaporing a DSE-901, and not satisfied, still on analogs, so I was just about ready to try the KR808D-1, for the larger e-liquid chamber, and possibly a better draw, and now after reading this, I am not too sure. I certainly do not want something that has a looser draw than the DES-901.

Does the KR808D-1 do better with a 501 or 901 battery?

On the GGTS the draw is about medium I would say. .

What is this GGTS, and is the draw tighter or looser than a DSE-901?

Thanks Rob! ;)

Just placed my first order with you Rob. The 510 cartos were hard to find, but picked some up for my wife. I prefer the 808's for myself

What is the difference between the 501 Cartos and the KR808D-1 Cartomizers? When battery do you use on your KR808D-1?

I have a DSE-901, and not happy with the TH, and have to keep topping off the cart every few puffs, because the flavor changes on me.

Any suggestions?

Thanks! ;)

I just got the new SLBs and I like the first Boge ones much better. For me, they were better at 5V.

The 808D's were great when they first came out but I honestly have not used one at all since these 510's came in. These things smoke so nice even at 3.7v.

I just ordered an 808 adapter for my 510 battery. I have standard battery and a 5v pass-through on the way.

Is there any wide percentage of preference between the 510 or 808 cartomizers?

Will they do do best with the standard battery or 5 v? My standard batteries are closed manuals btw.

Thanks in advance

Thank you, Rob, for getting in both the Boge and SLB's...it's nice to have a choice. :) Personally, I hope I never have to use another SLB.

:2c: Even on a standard 510 AUTO battery, the Boge 510 cartomizers "smoke" so nice! Most analog-like vaping experience I've come across yet (withouth the nasty smell and taste, of course). I know, I know, "be careful using auto batts". LOL I use a 3.7v box mod to vape for a while after a fill or refill, but switch to the autos when I know it's all safe. ;)

I just received a bunch of the SLB's (from elsewhere) and I find the biggest problem with them is they don't wick the juice to the coil properly. Because the coil sits in one place, about an inch up the carto, they just don't contact enough of the surface area of the filler. By running the coil vertically, the Boge carto's make contact with the filler over a much longer area. The Boge are IMHO much better!
