I'm guessing I can probably get those dual coils heads to fit in my protank;

but looking at those coils I'm not seeing any sign that they're actually dual coil? I thought the dual coils have 4 slots for 2 wicks instead of 2 slots for 1 wick?

Or maybe its got 1 flavor wick in between two coil wicks.

not even 1 review on youtube yet! that unusual Dashvapes has them 14.99 :)
here's there description apparently has dual coils

The Protank 3 Mini is the next generation of mini clearomizers from Kangertech. It is aesthetically similar to the Mini Protank II, but has been updated to use Dual Coils (the same ones used on the Protank 3, and Aerotank).

This comes with a 1.5Ω dual coil.

Google led to another site that has them as well.

It found one in Canada, but the OP & I are in the USA. I try to avoid international shipping rates... There's a few with "coming soon" but none in stock. There's always FleaBay, if you're the adventurous type. In any case, already have one on the way.

Nope. It takes the same heads as the ProTank 3, which will not fit in previous models (I have them all).

Notice the wicks are double the height of the previous heads. They're dual coil in parallel (top/bottom).

If they are about 1 mm too tight to fit in the protank, then they should fit in the protank tank if I use the miniprotank base as I normally do anyway; just won't need to add an extra cap now.

I'm guessing its just the base that's different from the miniprotank2; the top is probably the same.

The height from the base to the top of the rubber grommet is different on the PT3 vs PT1/2, and the air shaft from the drip to down to that grommet is different between PT3 vs PT1/2. That's why it won't fit. It will screw into the base, but that's as far as you'll get.

They actually look completely different - The base won't fit the Mini Protank 2 (tried it) - It looks more like a mini aerotank than the protank style.

Vapes better than the PT2 Mini in my opinion! (been vaping it for 4 days now)

If it uses the same dual coil heads as the ProTank 3 and the Aerotank, then the center tube of the tank will be shorter than the on in the 2 to accommodate the taller head. This is only my assumption based on owning the Mini V2.5, ProTank 2, Aerotank, and ProTank 3.
Based on the performance of my Mini V2.5, with rebuilt heads, I imagine it will run through a tank of juice in a heartbeat, lol.
My Mini V2.5 is a beast and will drop the level very quickly! Out of all my Kanger tanks, I like the way it vapes the best. It just doesn't have enough capacity or look as good on my Provari. I imagine the Mini V3 could only be better (with rebuilt heads anyway)!
I did find though that the stock Kanger dual coil heads become gunked up very quickly, and performance drops off quickly because of it.
I haven't attempted to rebuild the dual coils yet, but have rebuilt the dual coil heads with single coils in them. They perform better than the stock duals.
Let us know how it performs after you put some rebuilt duals in it. If it does well, I may have to pick up a few!
'Cause I do love me a Mini!

Nope. I just wish they would hurry and make an EVOD 3 with pyrex and removable drip tip. Why they didn't go all the way with the EVOD 2 baffles me. On second thought...no it doesn't. Sell a bunch of 2's, then come out with what people really want in an EVOD.. PYREX! and then sell a bunch more. Arrgh.

The SMok ARO-II is an Evod that is made of pyrex. Looks just like an EVOD to me, and uses the same heads. SMOK has been known to rip-off Kanger.

Only con is it doesn't have removable drip-tip (but it is pyrex).

Yes, you can rebuild the duals with a single coil. I actually have 12 wrap 30 ga micro wrapped on 1/16 drill bit that performs better in my aero than the stock duals ever did. I know, I know. Why 12 wraps? Cause a friend said it couldn't be done. Could've fit a Buick in the space left over too. Lol. Was gonna redo it with 10 wrap after, but this one works so well on my Provari I haven't had the heart to pull it apart.

The more hot metal surface area the better the vape.

Been away a while, been happy with Iclear16s,but they break very easily,so looking for something tougher.
Got a MiniPro3 today. It has a more angular look than the PT2 and has a changeble drip tip, otherwise I think its fairly similar.
Its performing fine, taste seems very clean, looks very very good on an Evod battery!
Two strange things though, Kanger says it has glass/pyrex tube but it feels much more like polycarbonate, also
I'm sure it came with a single coil head though it does work very well. Seems to be genuine has the logos ,serial number is accepted on Kangers website etc.
So far I'd recomend it,especially if you want something stylish!
