I have the PT Mini 2 and 3. They both were helped quite a bit by the adjustable air flow valve. The MPT3 does use more juice and gives a warmer vape. For me it works better with thicker juices that I like. Add a vv device and both tanks will work very well. I rebuilt the dual coils in the MPT3 tonight. It wasn't that bad and the cotton wicks help it even more. It took 14 wraps of 32 guage on both coils to get it up to 1.8 ohms. I can get a really nice cloud from it.

i just recoiled my MPT3 tonight! Because the wifey had problem with her firing, and i can only diy at this hour..

just a single coil like the PT2 though.. 10 coils of 28G Kanthal wire, some cotton wicks, and its giving good vapes! Not sure how many ohms though as i do not have a ohm meter, and i am using a mech mod, if i am not wrong, all should be fine?

Saw a "sale" off of Vapor Joe's yesterday...the PT3's were on sale for 12.99 but with the VJ code, it took $8 off bringing it to 4.99 ea + shp. Tried to order 4 at once but it only took off the $8 once so I ordered (1) PT3 4 times separately. Even with shp they came to, like 8.33 each, so now I'll have 4 to play with!!!

I picked up two and they are nice but my Mini PT2's are just as good with rebuilds. I don't think the PT3 holds the amount of juice advertised and the PT2 hold more in a side by side test.

It did seem like they hold less and wind up with more air in them because of what looks like a shorter center tube. Rewick all my Kanger heads with cotton for 100% VG and the dual coils were a pain. Mini 3 does seem to eat juice faster and don't feel like I'm getting any more flavor from them. Will probably get rebuilt as singles. Still prefer Mini 2.
