Anyone try the new Kanger T3 yet?

They must be getting their parts from the same place Vision did as one of the wifes Vivi Nova Mini's didn't have any air flow either.
I was tempted to cut it open, but the vendor wanted to replace it.
Hopefully whatever it is, they consistently have air holes

SVC has sent me a new one as well, presumably I can just trash the old one. Since it was only a $2 part anyway

for those people that had issues with certain batteries: I have a stainless ego twist, a black ego twist, and 2 black vision spinners. The T3 works fine on all the black batteries, but wont screw down all the way or fire on the stainless twist. I looked at the threads and theyre a little different on the stainless batt. also ive noticed my T3's have random slow leaks which i cant explain at all

I must have gotten lucky and snagged one of the last T3s in captivity from Stormy's. I'm using the SI Volt X2 batts which require an adapter for the T3. Adds a little length, but no biggie. The flavor is excellent, no burning and voluminous fog. Best of all, NO LEAKS. Sorry for the shout, but every clearo I've tried thus far has had some kind of leaking issue. Grant it, I'm only on my 4th tank refill, but this rig just became my go-to for at-home vaping. Easy to fill right out of the bottle and in combination with my 900mah, I'm good for a couple of days.

Dear all , a very good day to you and i hope you all are well .
been vaping for 2.5 years now and mostly use boge 510 lr , or fusion 801 cartomizers , have also been through varrrriooousss ce-t type clearos including the pheonix from gotvapes ( which are bottom coils ) , i do have the t2's and they seem nice .
I got the t3's this morning and i really like the vapour and the fact that i havent gotten any dry hits , i made the air intake holes a bit bigger and love the draw on them too .
My concern is the flavour !! , i have only been through about 1mil or so as yet but the flavour seems to be " highly muted " in comparison the t2's seemed way better !! will the flavour remain muted and crappy , or will it come thro in time .
all help appreciated
thanking you in advance
warm regards
Sah

Dear Skelly , a very good day to you and thank you so much for your prompt reply regarding my post .
it really is very kind of you :) , yes i had started going through each page now trying to find the solution ( just reached page 4 ).
I also read about you taking out one of the strands and the Mrs linking it just the way it is ...
i too have removed one strand Sir and am still waiting for the flavour to come thro ... , i am using a menthol tobacco in one and a nice peachy one in the other , but still facing the same " very low flavor " problem .
I shall now do as you have mentioned about the ce-3 o ring .
one more question sir , if the flavor comes through then """""what will i do with about 150 cartomizers i have !!! """" :p:unsure:
wishing you well & thank you once again for your help .
warm regards
Sah .

Maybe it's because I have VG liquids loaded in mine, but I start getting dry hits after a few drags. Maybe I'll try backing the seal off from the wicks like skelly did. When they hit, the flavor is nice. No leaks so far. A little problems connecting on some of my eGos (I have three black 1000mah Twists). I pull the battery post a bit and it works, though.

warm regards

The Phoenix and a ce3 are the same thing. GotVapes just named the ce3 Phoenix.

If you take a primer hit without hitting the power button occasionally between vapes it will help eliminate any dry hits. When you take a puff you should see some air bubbles go to the top.

Save the cartos for the zombie apocalypse, it's what I'm doing :)

I think by doing my method that it increases juice flow which also increases flavor.
I wanted to try it this way before I trimmed the seal, which will be the next thing that I do.
I plan on trimming a few thousandths off the seal, testing and repeating until I get it to my liking for my particular juice which is 60/40 & 50/50.
I also recommend cleaning prior to use as it seems to get anything that is on/in the wicks off/out.
I good hot water rinse is really all that is needed. Dry & fluff the wicks and make sure that the loose flavor strands don't get lost.

After I refill, I take a few dry pulls as it seems to get some type of pressure balance going in the tank and everything flowing in the direction that it needs to go.

Are you using a 808 to ego adapter? If so where did you get it? Nevermind I forgot the X2 has ego skirt threads. Does anyone know if they make a 808 to ego adapter and who has them?

Any o-ring should help. I add it so I can back off the outer shell and still keep it from rotating freely.
It also allows me some adjustment.

I'm using this adapter 901/808D to eGo Adapter - $2.99 : Stormys Vapor Cellar, Electronic Cigarettes & More . The T3 looks a little clunky perched on the adapter but with the quality of the vape, I'm not too concerned about aesthetics. I'm thinking the coil resistance may be a little low (2.4 ohms nominal) for the Volts because I'm draining the batteries quicker than "normal". I can't seem to find a higher resistance value T3 coil anywhere if they even make them? While I was at Stormy's I also picked up some of her Fire & Ice juice. Talk about knocking you on your ..... Yeowzer! Cinnamon/menthol will definitely light up your throat. Supposedly, Kanger is about to introduce a direct screw-on T3 for the Volts but must be having problems. The intro at Smokeless Image has been postponed a few times.

Trainguy - Thanks for adapter tip. I've been using a T3 on an Ego battery, but I may get an adapter so I can use it on a higher voltage X2. I plan to get a T3 from S.I. when they come out, but who knows when that will be. BTW...Imagine said S.I.'s T3 will also be 2.4 ohms.
