So, I'm a couple of months into my original coil T3 and have only one complaint. The flavor wicks. I've done 2-3 thorough cleaning/dry burns. The first time, I tried (and failed) to capture and reassemble the wicks. Fruitless endeavor. I tried various combinations of 1, 1.5 and 2mm diameter replacements and found a single piece of 1.5 or 2mm to work very well. I'll give a slight edge to the 2mm in vapor production and taste. So in the future, the flavor wicks are going to get tossed and replaced with 2mm from day one. Since it's so easy to replace these wicks during the dry burn cleaning process, I start with fresh wick after every thorough cleaning. Also, I've found that the inverted silicone seal trick helps a great deal and has resulted in no dry hits, gurgles or leakers. For whatever reason, the 2mm wick has solved the gurgling problem I had with the OE flavor wicks. YMMV, but this is what has worked for me.

here, there and everywhere
I decided I wanted to give the T3's a shot. I liked the whole concept of how they are made. I bought 2 yesterday from Ivape. One seems to work with no issues at all. The other is gurgling constantly, soon as I got to the 1.6 ml lvl, I got nothing but dry hits. Had to fiddle with it quite a bit. Fixed that and just a few vapes later, dry hits again. This continued until I gave up and put my nova back on. Both were used on super ego vv at 4.0.

I am not sure I like these enough to continue on with them. They seem to be hit or miss with a lot of adjusting to them, especially to just replace in a matter of weeks.

Well there are few things you can do to help. First you can flip the seal gasket by the wicks it helps juice get to the wicks better. Also I just blow lightly into the mouthpiece every few vapes till I see a air bubble release from the coil then I'm good to go again.
for the gurgling I just take it off and blow it out into a tissue dry and replace.

I found a way to temporarily clean out the air tube without removing the clearmizer from the battery or taking it apart.

Use a pipe cleaner and push it in from the drip tip end.

Just be careful not to push it in so far it damages the coil. I lay it on the outside and measure how far I want it to go and mark it with my finger, then push it in until my finger touches the drip tip.

This is only a temporary measure and may not stop the gurgling completely, but if you're getting liquid in your mouth this helps stop that for a while.

I've gone through about 15 pages here and noticed a little talk of flooding.
I bought a couple in a co-op and a couple from discountvaper. Every one of them is flooding at the base where the connection is made to a battery. It's not much liquid but its enough that after a while its effecting the vape.
I thought I fixed it when I dismantled one and made sure everything was tight. Flooding stopped for a couple hours but then started up again. Any fixes or things i can do to avoid this?
The flavor these produce are very very good and honestly they don't look half bad but after a while even small leaks I'll toss every single one with my lack of patience.

Yeah I take a tissue roll the corner up a bit and insert it into the mouthpiece and swirl it a bit juice and Burke gone.

Have you removed the flavor wicks? If not, remove them and try again.

I actually did that first thing the moment I received them. I was actually thinking maybe that was the problem.

It probably is. Removing one of the flavor wicks helps if you get dry hits, but it definitely makes the leaking worse if you suffer from such behavior.

I've found that removing the flavor wicks and flipping the cap causes flooding. I do one or the other, not both.

Does a T3 work good with both flavor wicks removed and the seal cap in it's original position? If so, this seems easier than having to deal with the loose wicks when dry burning. I'll have to try it.

I removed just one of the flavor wicks and kept the seal normally. If it still does dry hits you can also unscrew a little. You'll get better flavor and a lot more vapor. I tighten as I go lower to avoid gurgling.

I carry my T3 in my shirt pocket with a pocket clip. I’m continuously taking it out, vaping and putting it back. If I tried to make small adjustments to how tight the coil is screwed on, it wouldn’t stay where I put it very long.
