Kind of off topic, but has anyone noticed a difference in the attys between old 510 and the newer ones? The aluminum wick on the newer models competely covers the coil which helps on filler burn...they seem to me to produce more vapor as well.
I saw it and it made tried it,(my new ones have a washer)it was suppose to be as a back up, but as you say I produce good vapor, and the best part you can taste the flavor in a better way.

the manual 510 is so close to a real cigarette for me that I would never be back or would try another brand

Yes, I agree with you. The throat hit is perfect for emulating a cigarette. Taste wise, I'd go with a 901 if I ever get another atty. Mine fried, but I'm ordering another soon hopefully. I was liking it alot until it died. :-x

Kalo, does you're battery have a stamped number and indent where the automatic hole would be, or is it a flush seal? My batteries with the indent and serial number have an 11 second cut off to protect the atty. Not sure which is the original and whch is the clone.

Nope, no number or anything whatsoever...

So, after getting in my new atty and passthru and what not, I think I have figured out the issue. It was not the batteries as I originally thought. I think I just happened to get a few bum attys, which does happen and is no ones fault. The 7 second cut off is not even an issue now, because I am not hitting it with my new atty. I wanted to let everyone know not to worry about the batteries, because they are fine and I just had some bad luck with some attys. I am a vaping machine right now, and even hit it a few times with so much vapor it nearly choked me!

Thanks to rob who has always been great and offered to fix the problem. He is another A++ for customer service! Thanks everyone for your help as well! Now Cowboy Dan, I see what you are talking about! These things are great!!
