Anyone who vapes who has nasal polyps?

I am looking for research (if it exists) and first hand feedback for people who vape who have nasal polyps or live with people with nasal polyps. Does vapor and/or second-hand vapor have any impact on the polyps?

I have read all of the research I can find about the effects of vapor and second-hand vapor and know that it quite benign in general. I live with someone who has problems with nasal polyps and would like better educate myself. While I know that vapor is generally benign, I also know that a few of the ingredients have the potential to be mild irritants and am curious if they irritate people who have nasal issues.

I can't comment in nasal polyps however my wife is very asthmatic and she has cough fits if I am using my fog machine in the bed. (Oddly no cough at all if she is asleep, so I don't know if it's in her head or not)

if the person you live with thinks its a problem.then its a problem.on a wild ... guess that vaping should be no problem vape up in the abode there and see if the other person turns green and passes out.other than possible allergies it should be benign.chances are if there using an inhaler for treatment it contains some of the same ingredients.

There is no such thing as second hand vapor, however, if you're really worried I suggest you call your doctor and ask the question. We have the best intentions, but the majority of us are not doctors and all we can do is give you our uneducated opinion from our armchairs.

I thought about this post some more and wondered why the OP's friend doesn't get the polyps removed. I would think that would improve his/her quality of life in leaps and bounds...

From what I have been told, the surgery causes a lot of pain and the polyps often come back.

I'm sure it does cause some pain, but wouldn't the result be that they may not come back and if they do, at least they're not continuing to grow without intervention. I would think they could possibly grow large enough to obstruct breathing altogether. Just a thought, I'm not judging one way or another, I was just curious.
