I went back to cigarettes a couple years ago. I was tired of the high maintenance of E-cigs and them not working 100% of the time. Have there been any big improvements in e-cigs in the past couple years? I was using and Ego and a box mod. Also anyone know if my old e-liquids would still be good?

There's something new every week! It's growing really fast.

If it's been 2 years, I'ld probably trash any already opened juices. The rest would be worth a shot as long as they were stored in a cool, dark place. Only one way to find out.

Evod's are hot now and it seems like proTanks are the next big thing in the clearomizer world. MtBakerVapor is the spot of cheap/decent liquid.

As for batteries, get something that is 3.7v or higher.

The proTanks seem to be sold out everywhere. I might go with the Evod. It looks to have good reviews all around and I don't see a reason it wont last a long time. Where can I buy the wicks and coil material for them?

You can buy replacement heads for the evod at gotvapes. Just checked they were in stock.

Kanger EVOD Replacement Head - 2.5ohm [gv-EVOD-2.5ohmRepHEAD] - $1.59 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

if you are going to rebuild them yourself, there are a lot of places that will sell wick and wire, depends on what kind of wick you want to use.

EDIT: There are 3 resistances available on gotvapes as well, not sure of the stock levels of them all, check it out :).

Ok so I can either replace the heads or rewick and coil them myself. What would you say is the best place to buy e-cig supplies?

It really depends on what you are looking for. Different vendors seem to carry different stuff and I have never found one that has everything. We need a Vapemart lol. Anyway, keep an eye on the steals and deals thread in the forums, I keep meaning to bookmark it then never do, you can find it with a search. Also, this is a pretty good blog with some good deals on it.

Thanks. Has anyone used electronicstix.com? They seem to have pretty good prices.

For vendors, I've been happy with Nhaler, litecigUSA, myfreedomsmokes, mtBakerVapor, and Mtn vapor. For wick/coil material I got my current supply for a German guy on eBay.

CoOp's / classifieds here on ECF are also a good option to get cheap supplies.

If it's been that long I would have to say "everything" would be new to you just about. I've only been vaping since the beginning of this year, after a pack a day for over 35 yrs. And I see something new everytime I look. Of course only doing this for my brief period, I'm sure there was a whole lot I didn't see. But I can say this industry is changing REALLY fast.

Agreed, I just started vaping last December and I'm still surprised how many new stuff that's been coming out each month. Before I started vaping I was totally confused by the huge number of products available though that is also a boon since there are so many choices. Vaping will only get expensive if you crave the high end stuff.
