Anything surprise you when you started vaping?

Before I found ECF, my first order was for an eGo kit that came with the included cigarette flavored cartridges. I also bought some extra tobacco cartridges and a similarly flavored juice. After I got fed up with the hassle of the cartridges, I got a couple of Mini Vivi Novas and also ordered a caramel apple flavored juice just to try something different.

So my first surprise from these early orders was that the eGo really was pretty small. I mean, from the pictures that I was looking at it looked a lot bigger than it really is. I guess all of the enlargements that were being used to show the detail threw me off.

And my second surprise was with the sweet ejuice that I got and how much I liked it and that's when the bulb went off in my head and I realized that there was a world of vaping flavors out there.

So what surprised you when you first started?

My surprise was that I actually liked it better than smoking right from the start.
I had no intention to quit smoking, was never going to as far as I was concerned !
Bought a 510 kit with all the bells & whistles just for fun...decided it tasted better than my cigarettes - finished out the carton I had and that was it !
Been over 2 1/2 years since my last cigarette now.

Was suprised at how seamless the move from smoking to vaping was. Took one vape, and haven't looked back!

I was surprised at how easy it was for me to kick the cigs out the door and not look back.

I was surprised that I would actually never light another ciggie. I had half a pack left and kept it for 3 days, but I realized I would never want another and tossed that half pack. When I smell cigarette smoke now, it's just nasty and I can't believe I smelled like that for years. Thankfully, I'm free of those nasty things.

i was surprised how much stuff was out there. can't just have one of everything....i need TWO!

I haven't quite tossed my smellsticks, but cut down so far from the first vape that tobacco withdrawal kicked in within about a week.

When I placed my order for my first Joye 510 kit I didn't intent to quit smoking, just hoped to use it when it would be more convenient. It did surprise me how easily I decided to actually try to quit smoking and how smoothly that process went for me

I remember reading about people's sense of smell returning to them a bit after they started vaping. I didnt know I'd lost mine somewhere through the years of smoking until the day I realized mine had returned to me when I smelled the sweet smell of raindrops on the grass. I hadn't realized that it had been years since I had experienced that smell until the day it returned to me

Being an internet junkie, I was surprised ecigs had been around for so long and I had never heard of them.

2nd surprise was they really worked and were better than cigarettes in just about every way.

3rd surprise I actually quit.

Also surprised that it was so easy, no withdraw to speak of and how much I like non-tobacco liquids.

When I first started, the guy who I purchased the juice from had the menthol that I requested. He recommended I try blueberry n watermelon that he brought with him. I laughed n thought I'm not inhaling fruity stuff. I bought it anyway. 3 days into it, I couldn't get enough of the watermelon n wanted nothing to do with the menthol. Lol...I smoked menthol for 20 years.

I was suprised that it made me stop smoking cigarettes! Seriously, I bought it to help me cut back. I never intended to completely quit smoking!

haha I was supprized that it accually worked! My wife got a BLU (what a piece of crap) and to me at the time was incredible. It was like smoking! After that we got 2 Proteges and that was it, Life long vapers. Not one stinky since 2009 for either of us.

Howdy folks,
1st surprise, I never really thought about quitting. I smoked one of the two smokes I had ieft in a pack while charging the battery, and haven't picked up another since then.
2nd surprise, this is not an easy thing to do, where is all the money to buy new toys supposed to come from, huh, where I ask you where!?!? Who knew there were dozens and dozens of beautiful devices with about 100 ways to deliver juice and lord only know how many different flavors of juice there is out there....must try as many as I can before I keel over from nic exhaustion.
3rd surprise, DIYing that &$-@? Juice is as much fun as vaping, damn the luck!

I start vaping, when I always woke up 2 or 3am in the morning. After vaping for a month no more woke in the morning.

When I first started vaping.. I was surprised how easy it was to switch. I didn't think about smoking for weeks.

Nowadays I am surprised at how many options there are. I still want to try a few different hardware setups.

I was amazed by how good vaping is now. I tried some of the early e-cigs years ago and they were terrible, but these days even the cheap gas station disposables I'm stuck using aren't that bad.

WOW, so many people have had the same experience I did - This thing works and I really didn't even expect to quit, at least not nearly this easily! .

I didnt have a very good start with vaping, I bought an intellicig m401. It was terrible, the atomizer didnt work at first and it leaked a lot. But I have an Ego now and its great.
