Nichrome is great stuff. I used to use it almost exclusively. Some people (IDK, 1 in 20?) get a sore throat from it. Best thing to do is to try a small quantity and, if a mysterious sore throat arises after vaping, discontinue. Otherwise, no worries.
Good info. I knew you want to avoid the nichrome 60 because of a metalic taste but didn't know about the sore throat.[emoji106]

Mundy's Magick, almost 1 year old.
before and after quick dry burn.
I haven't tried Tigr wire, but MM has long been my favorite. MM is .6X.7 triple twisted.
I have some Nichrome 30g and some Kanthal ribbon .1X.8 I might try twisting and comparing to MM

I was thinking some .6 ribbon twisted with 30g might make for some nice tiger wire for regulated vaping....hmmmm

So glad I found this thread. I am on a list for a very cool and unique mod plus I'm getting some great ideas for coils to try.

One question.....how will I be alerted when my mod is ready and how and when do I pay for it? Thanks all.

I will PM you when it's completed with pp details and to get shipping info. I will try to keep the list updated with which mod I'm working on.

Quick update. ...on way home from my road trip[emoji6] I'm really loving the tiger wire. I am finding myself preferring the vertex/tiger setup over the manta 26g! I really can't believe how much this wire improved the vertex performance.

Also I ordered a run of 10 of the "surprise" atty[emoji15] I have yet to receive my test unit but I decided to take a chance and order some anyways. Based on the reviews I have seen I'm pretty certain I won't be disappointed[emoji6] hopefully will have them in hand late next week.

cant wait to see what the surprise atty is.... any hints????
Hmmmm....I'm having a hard time keeping it secret but I don't want you guys getting excited just to let you all down if it doesn't meet expectations.

A hint though would be that it's a 22mm atty that should have great flavor and vapor production in a small and versatile package[emoji6]

Been playing with wire this am and I have come upon something cool[emoji16] I like the flavor pop of Mundy wire but don't like the slow heat up time. Soooooo.....what I did is twisted two strands of 30g kanthal......then twisted one strand of .6x.1 ribbon. Then I put them together and reverse twisted[emoji1]. What your left with is a really narly wire with less resistance than mundy. You give up some surface area but gain a bunch of heat. 4 wraps on 2.5mm came out to .5ohm.
