That sounds a lot like what I was getting on my face! They actually tested me for lupus because of the severity and the pattern it was in. Apparently it was something in the air at the office we were in at the time because it only happened while I was at work. The very worst was around my eyes. I wanted to take a fork to my face it itched so bad!! No fun for sure.Wow... you guys are making me feel happy I've never gotten burned that badly. I've had the little bubble blisters and almost purple sunburns, but never swelled up.
However, being allergic to so many things, I've had some horrible reaction rashes. The face wash incident was one of my least favorites. Think palm sized patches of bright red goose bumps all over my face and neck. It itched so bad I was about to scrub with steel wool and couldn't go to work (in a restaurant) for like three days cuz it looked so bad.
The cold medicine one was a close second. Still not sure if it was the Zicam zinc nasal swabs or the Echinacea pills and not willing to find out. Got a combination of salad plate sized purple-y raised hives and the bright red goose bump rash on 80% of my body that didn't go away for days. Couldn't leave my house without hearing at least one comment about abuse counselors and the only people that believed me when I said it was an allergic reaction were people with similar allergic incidents.
You can't outgrow a bee allergy because the venom stays in your system and it compounds every time you get stung, apparently. The last time I was stung was supposedly the last time I will be able to sorta kinda walk away without a major anaphylactic reaction. Problem is, I don't know what kind of bee it is that gives me that reaction! Needless to say, I just avoid all bees and bee-type creatures, lol.Bees were my kryptonite, but I dont know any.longer, may have grown out of.that one
Good morning, Blue! Staying dry?Good morning everyone.............

When we moved to Burien, I could see Mt. Rainier out our living room window, and the space needle from upstairs bedroom....10 minute drive to Puget Sound. I miss it...so much...sigh...I love it here most of the time....I love the rain and cool weather....except in the summer...but there is always the water nearby to go to.......
Just for you..........When we moved to Burien, I could see Mt. Rainier out our living room window, and the space needle from upstairs bedroom....10 minute drive to Puget Sound. I miss it...so much...sigh...
Latex, bees and antibiotics. That's it...lol....no seasonal allergies, no food allergies.I feel for all of you who have a lot of allergiesMy only big allergy is penicillin. Besides that I think the only other thing I am allergic to is those white fuzzy worms we get here (I break out in hives if one even crawls on me) and certain metals; like on certain earrings and necklaces, belt buckles, buttons on jeans, etc..
I could not imagine having extreme allergic reactions to such simple things. My Mom is allergic to alot of things, and I have seen her react to so many things in my life. I just feel for you guys![]()
