A freshwater beach? crazy

It's awesome, no shells, sand is ultrafine white, water is super warm and you can walk out a quarter mile before it is up to your chest. And if you get water in your mouth... it doesn't taste like ocean, lol.

Love oceanfront, (Lived in Cali for a year back in 93' when I was folloing the Grateful Dead... little town called Trinidad), but freshwater beaches are awesome too... just can't surf them

I have the most crummy day ever, just seriously bummed about some bad news of a costly nature with my medications, so I've been feeling bad most of the day over that, and then to show up and get such a bright piece of news, and even better than the prize are all the amazing well wishes. I love you guys!! (sniff!). Seriously, anyone ever having a really bad day, this thread is good antidote to a bummer mood. lol Thanks so much again!!!

It's north CA yeah. Home of the worlds tallest tree, crabs, and...uh... some other stuff. We didn't actually live IN Trinidad, was a beach house on the coast near there... gorgeous. I stayed in South Cali as little as possible, really just went down for concerts and sightseeing or to the airport. LA is gross.
