What is amazing is that the computer was fine. Still going strong! Luckily so is she!!!!

Understandable on that one. Electricity is some powerful stuff. Even before vaping I had my knowledge and respect of it. But I still tell everyone to put a surge protector between the outlet and anything of value. Not a 100% sure thing, but can make a difference.
