The first 26 years I loved. Daily Newscasts but always broken up by Special Projects that made things interesting too.
Space ....tle launches, Opening of Disney World, Universal Studios, Gubenatorial Debates,......Whatever was going on in this part of the world.
Also did some commercial production that made for travel throughout the country.
Then there was a ton of freelancing......mostly sports; for ESPN, NBC, NBA....pretty much whoever came to Florida would call.
Then the last four years sucked, the recession hit the industry pretty hard; didn't see it changing anytime soon; so I got out!!

That's fantastic Dave..wow....and to LOVE it too...one lucky guy that's what you are...must have been fascinating and so sorry this darn recession sure took it's toll on everything and everyone...but wow..lots of interesting history there....! thank you for sharing that...bet you have lots of stories to tell when things get slow around here..!! Hope we get to hear some...I know everyone would get a kick our of them I'm sure....thanks again..*

in response to the chit chat comments......Apollo is a business. If the business is to remain viable (and make even more wonderful toys for us), they must sell their product! This contest area is brilliant, IMO. It keeps the prospective customer thinking about the product Apollo is selling, encourages word of mouth advertising, educates the customer on best use practices and increases the perceived value. The customer gets information about products he/she is interested in, tips and tricks from experienced users, meets lots of friendly people and might win VALUABLE PRIZES!!

Well, today is going to be rough. The atty in my eGo-C cone went out on the drive in. And I can't find the spare atty that is usually in my bag. Thankfully I am only about 20m from home. So I'll have to zip there on my break. But I have food at home, so I guess that is a good thing.
