I'm not big on heights. And yet, I'll gladly put on a tank of air and go underwater.
I have never had the chance to scuba dive.. I do want to try that though...
It's amazing. Look around for PADI "Discover SCUBA" experiences. It's a chance to go on a dive with an instructor to see if it's something you would enjoy doing. That's how I went diving in Cozumel last year.

Hopefully by the end of the year I will be fully SCUBA certified. So many places to dive in Florida, I must go.

It's all from a point of perspective. I think it's reversed....
I mean... I'm not afraid of heights... I can look at high buildings all day.. but if I'm at the top of one... then when I look down, I see the depth.... so.. I'm technically afraid of depths...
Reverse for scuba diving. When at sea level, I'm not afraid of how deep it is... but when down in the water, that changes to a height...

I was at the CN tower last year... It's pretty cool! Didn't get a chance to do the Edge Walk... They told us there was a 3 week waiting list! I would do it if I had the chance... but I would rather bungee jump off of the edge though!

One thing on my "to do" list, is to go to Australia and snorkle/dive the Great Barrier Reef... I've been wanting to take PADI classes, but haven't had the chance to yet... Hopefully sometime soon...
