Oh my, That is purdy. A friend sent me one of them and I LOVE it so much that I'm gonna have to get another.

BTW, does anyone know if that rubber band, around the part with the button, can be taken off? It is so pretty and shiny under it but I am afraid if I take the band off, the button will fall out.

The band is part of the button...on the back side of the band is an inverted button that makes contact with the switch to activate the battery when you depress the textured "button" on that band. Make sense? LOL

I don't know. I did mention in my review that I initially thought it was supposed to come off, but as you mentioned it appears that if you were to fully do that the button would pop out/fall out. I like pretty and shiny things. :D

What are your thoughts on the Mini ViVi Nova? I keep looking at it as being a possible next purchase for my kGo... After reading your battery review here, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the Mini ViVi.

Thanks KK. That's what I thought. I lifted the band up and it looked like the button was attached to it. Was afraid to go any farther for fear I would break it.

not unless u take a button off a old pv an put it on there

That is an option. It is kinda hard to find by feel. Was thinking about trying to replace it with something that stuck out a bit more. Will think about it and maybe have hubby come up with something. He's pretty handy with things like this.

I checked Apollo's website and couldn't find anywhere that they sell the Mini ViVi Nova...

Me either. But Flarg did a great write up on the Apollo VV eGo battery, I was hoping for some well thought out thoughts on the Nova.

If I have erred and mentioned a product not for sale... I humbly apologize. No harm, or misdirection was intended.

No worries..I'm only a helper not an employee..I just know that most vendors don't condone the discussion of competitors' products on their thread. :toast:
