Yes! Piercings are very very addicting. I had four at one point and wanted three more and my boyfriend said I was going to look like a jewelry store. Gauging is the same way! I wanted 00 but ended up at half inch wanting to go bigger. I have one tattoo, only because I can't afford more!

Sadly, the one piercing I really want, I doubt I will ever be able to get. Tongue. I can't have visible piercings at work obviously .. and the tongue needs a good bit of healing before one starts using clear spacers or the like. Ah well. Obla dee, obla day. Life goes on.

While I think your tattoo idea is great, Lettuce, a word of warning - ink is highly addictive. I only wanted a single tattoo but before I knew it I was covered with them. Nothing looks quite as fine as a fresh tat, and the urge to keep getting new ones is strong indeed.

That is sooooo true. I think it is about as addictive as cigs. lol

Unfortunately, I can't afford another one although I would dearly love to get more.

That was something I didn't know about you......me, no damned way, I look good the way God made me -- and permanent coloring seems so much of a commitment, I would never be able to decide.....

Morning all! Back at work today. Joint swelling hasn't noticeably diminished, but the 'painfulness' has. 4 more days of oral steroids & then back to the Dr. for a follow-up. Here's hoping that surgery can be avoided!
