Where I am
Little Lucy and her Daddy sitting by our tree. She's the reason I started vaping:

I'm vapin' on my janky homemade epipe. I just drilled a hole in it and crammed an auto battery in it! (hint, hint! (I know you do not carry epipes, but an ecigar would make my Christmas!))

Into my third week of the visit and I finally tell my DD and SIL that I am using the e-cig. I wasn't too sure how this would go over but it goes well. They have no problem with it as long as I don't use it in front of GD. That was no problem since I didn't plan on it.

Tuesday

The next morning after breaking the news to my DD and SIL, GD is in school. I'm sitting on their great front porch in a rocker. DD is sitting right next to me. We are talking and enjoying a drink while watching the world come alive. I'm also vaping and there is no complaints from DD.
Life is good!!!!!!!!!

I starting smoking when I was about 14 years old, stopped almost three years ago (after 30 plus years) when I bought my first ego. I researched on here (ECF) before I decided on a device and must have done well because even though it wasn't a real smoke I was determined and made the switch and best of all my original egos still work! (hope the pics work, not real good at this yet)

"My" Story is not much diffferent than most people . . . However, these 2 are very similar to mine . . . .

I'd been smoking cigarettes for 40 years and would try quiting time and again along the way. I tried most all things to stop smoking, the gums, nicotine patches, and there were many weird stop smoking aids and I would try these things and pretty soon I would tell myself, self I would say, you're putting anything in your mouth, that you don't ever do and maybe causing more harm than the cigs, soI'd be right back to em! In . . . (May, 2011 The day I tried - A friend sent me an "eCig" froma a catolog), . . . . the ones that look like a cigarette with the little orange light and thought weren't to bad. Well I found ECF and started researching everything . . . .

I have C.O.P.D., emphysema, and a myriad of other health problems. (Too many that I would prefer not to List here)

BUT - The difference is, although I am still trying to at least cut back, I have yet to quite smoking . . .

Well my visit is over and I'm at the airport waiting for my luggage and using my e cig. This is my first experience of someone coming up and asking about it. This also sends me down the trail of trying to convert other people..even strangers.

The first picture IS NOT my entry for Thursday, it's the second one.

I sort of converted the people in the picture.
