It's still fast food coffee. It might be good fast food coffee but that's like saying Pizza Hut has better wings than Dominos. They still aren't great wings.

If you want some great coffee, get yourself an Aeropress and some Stumphouse coffee beans. Or even beans from your local coffee shop that roasts them in house. Great coffee comes from good fresh beans, ground fine and consistently, and pressed with water at around 175 degrees.

Sorry, I'm not trying to bag on anyone who loves their D&D. But there is whole world of better coffee out there.

My Grandma taught me how to make the best coffee so she said... You take a sauce pan and fill half way with water and bring to a boil then toss in 4 rounded table spoons (large spoon from the silver ware drawer)... Turn off the burner until it stops boiling... Toss an egg shell in it she said"to take out the bitterness"... Let cool a bit so ya don't burn your mouth...

Brand of grounds was irrelevant since it still tasted like mud...

I couldn't agree with you more. Actually if you roast your own coffee it's even better. You can roast coffee in a popcorn popper.

The Aeropress is a different animal altogether for brewing coffee. I remember when they first came out with it there was a lot of discussion regarding the temperature. I've never had a chance to use one.

I'm not a coffee connoisseur or an arabica artist or a robusta researcher but I like Dunkin Donuts coffee. I think Starbucks coffee is too rich. I like rich coffees, don't get me wrong... But I only drink rich coffee at home when I have time to actually enjoy my senses and enjoy the flavor. Dunkin Donuts is perfect strength as well. I feel my heart beat rise when I drink Starbucks, but with Dunkin Donuts, I can drink a medium mug and know I won't be jittery at work. I do have a pretty good caffeine sensitivity. Dark chocolate can be enough ruin my day, so a strong cup can really mess me up. I have been drinking McDonnald's coffee lately, and I have to say, with enough sugar, it is very comparable to Dunkin Donuts coffee, very nutty in flavor and just enough richness to milk ratio. I really enjoy it.

I hadn't noticed that today was already Wednesday. I'm hoping to receive my Apollo Tube tomorrow. (hopefully) I can't get enough of the Apollo website. I look at all the other popular e-cigarette websites and I have a lot of gripes. Some of them have great selection for cartomizers and atomizers, but unfortunately they do not list the resistance.

At Apollo, I noticed that for the 510 atomizers, they state that they are "high resistance," but they do not list what resistance this is. For the T-go atomizers, they actually list the ohm rating for they're atomizers. (They state they are 2.0-2.3ohm) Listing the ohm rating is really important to me. The Elips atomizers are listed at 2.0-2.3ohm which is nice. Its nice to know what resistance atomizer you are ordering. Unfortunately, the cartomizer section isn't listed. They do state that the cartomizers ARE 510 connections, but they don't list the ohm of each cartomizer type. I do like that they don't advertize that ONE cartomizer is equal to a pack of cigarettes. Instead, they state that one of they're cartos is actually around 1/2 a pack of cigarettes. I thought this was nice. I don't like companies that lie to you. They even go as far as stating that the cartomizers hold around 16 drops of juice and can (roughly) be refilled up to 8 times before losing vapor production or dying on you. I also noted that the price of cartomizers decreases with bulk orders, and you can get them down to $1.60/each. Nice! However, I wish that they would actually state that the Apollo Standard cartomizers are 510 cartomizers, and the Apollo Extreme cartomizers are 510 cartos. (But, again, they do not list the ohm rating for the 5pack cartomizers they sell. The ohm rating would be cool) They DO state that the (retired) mini cartos are NOT compatible with the other kits, which means they are not 510 connections. I think it'd be nice if this was also stated on the website.

Um, I noticed that as far as mod batteries on the Apollo site go, they are described well. For the 18650 batteries, they actually list that they are high drain, and 2200mAh, however I did notice they do not state whether or not they are protected circut or chemistry. For the 18350 batteries, they list that they are high drain, and 700mAh, however they do not list if they are protected or not on these either. BUT, for the standard and extreme kits, they do NOT list the mAh ratings for either of the batteries, which I think would be very useful to buyers. Mainly because, from the Youtube videos I did watch, it seems the standard 510 kit is the standard batteries, but the extreme kit has longer 510 batteries and I'm not sure of the mAh on these longer batteries, so it would be a nice addition to the site for new users. Especially if you are new to vaping, and you are wanting to know the difference between the Apollo Standard/Extreme 510 kits, the Elips, and the Ego kits. (New users need to understand mAh ratings and how much battery life they will be getting, this is essential to picking up the right kit for your particular smoking habits) Apollo does a good job at listing what the batteries feature, but not the internals or mAh. I also REALLY like that they offer us the red/orange LED 510 batts, OR a blue LED 510 battery spare. This is really cool. I know that when I bought my 510 kit, I was only offered the red/orange LED tip, and I had actually wanted blue. Other than these minor things, the Apollo website is well put together. In fact, it is one of the neatest & most user friendly websites I've seen thus far. Customer service is the BEST out of ALL the websites I have ever visited concerning e-cigs. They actually have a chat feature with a LIVE person waiting to answer your questions. (and, the live person actually works for Apollo. I have run into websites where the "live person" is actually an outsourced company. You never get the same person twice, they dont work for the website, and they take forever to answer your questions) With the Apollo chat, you are getting an Apollo representative that knows the website. They also answer e-mails lightning fast I've noticed. I have spoken with different representatives, and Rick, whom I believe (not sure) is the, or one of the owners, and they are extremely kind hearted and they actually cared about ME above themselves and above making money off of me. Maybe I will rate the company as a whole once I receive my product, but for now, I am VERY happy with my purchase. :]

Apollo just ...... me off. I used the customer chat to ask when I could expect my order to be shipped. The answer I got was today or tomorrow. So if I can upgrade to priority to get it by the weekend. The guy (or girl.. "Ashley") said that it would cost $5.15 (sure, why not). So I said that I only wanted to upgrade if I can be sure that it would be shipped either today or tomorrow. The answer I got was something scripted and along the lines of "Your order is processing, and can expect to be shipped in 1-2 days". So I rage quitted the chat. It pisses me off when companies, especially smaller ones, can't be bothered to type me a personal message, or give me positive reinforcement that they will do what they can.

I really wanted to mention something that has what I think been my saving grace with this device. The plastic attached to the end cap appears to be the biggest design feature that people do not expect. It is plastic attached to a piece of aluminum and fitted by two pieces of the plastic being stuck into the aluminum. I have seen numerous people break the plastic off and truth be told if you play with the end cap it may appear loose when it is in fact all the way tightened down. While my solution will not work with the stock battery that comes with the Apolloecigs kit it is a very good solution to the solving two problems if using AW IMR 18650's. If you go to the plumbing section of home depot you will find O rings that will fit around the threading of the end cap. This O ring will be a little bit wider than the end cap when it is on but it is black so you barely see it. As I stated in another post the AW IMR's are too long for the tube and cause you to have exposed threading when the cap is as tight as it will go. The O ring serves two purposes. 1. It covers the exposed gap on the threading. 2. I use it for removing and replacing my cap when changing the batteries. Essentially never touching the very delicate plastic that is attached to the aluminum and never creating a risk of breaking that plastic off. Hope this helps for those that are going to buy AW IMRs and have ran into the same issue as I have.

I got my Apollo Vtube an hour ago and I can't put it down!! :D I'm so happy! I love it so much. There is NO COMPARISON to my 510 batteries, NONE. I love it at 3.7 volts. I have not experienced ONE unsatisfactory toot from my Vtube at the 3.7 volt mark. Perfect throat hit and vapor production. The nicotine buzz is unparalleled. This thing is spectacular. Its much lighter than I thought and much smaller than I had thought as well. Almost like a giant cigar. haha. Apollo gave me a nifty contoured white drip tip and the 510 atomizer hits more consistently than my 306 atty that I got with my 510. You couldn't smack the smile off of my face when I was unwrapping it. Its very sleek and professional looking. I don't see why anyone would buy any other mod when you can get the Vtube for so cheap when compared to mods stuck at 3.7 volts or mods stuck at 5 volts or the extremely expensive variable voltage mods. I love it so much and if it continues performing well I feel a loyalty to it building already :) I may have to sell some things and buy the mini for outside of the house. For now, I will be taking this one with me everywhere. I can't even justify using 510 batteries after using this. Thank you Apollo for helping me out with the purchase and thank you ecf for helping me choose a great first PV.

I just have one question: If the 18650 battery is rated for only 4.2 volts at peak charge, then how does the Vtube allow 5 volt + vaping? I don't understand? Also, what is the 7 click feature? I think they call it Undercharge or whatever? When I press the button 7 times it says 4.5 in the LCD... Does that mean I can only vape up to 4.5v unless I charge until it reaches the higher voltage I desire?

Got my VTube from Apollo a couple of days ago. The kit came with everything minus the battery. I emailed Apollo and they got back to me after the weekend and priority shipped me one that night. It just came in the mail today and I have a question for everyone who purchased the same kit:

Where does this battery come from and is it protected? No labels and less than favorable appearance has me asking before vaping.

And on an unrelated but equally important note (well almost):

I know I buy my jeans from vans, just because its cheap and I like the style ($20 for a pair of jeans). But there are also those who buy their jeans from big name brands such as Lucky, American Eagle, etc etc for $75+.

Where are you getting Vans jeans for $20?!

The 7 click is the battery level. You never want your batteries over 4.1/4.2 the Vtube should not work if they get overcharged. There is another trick where you can hit the power button 7 times then hit and hold the fire button and while firing hit the power button. That should show you the voltage that you are getting under a load, but I dont think it works consistently. The power is boosted so even though battery is putting out the 3.7 or whatever the circuitry boosts the voltage to a higher level draining the battery faster.

Mine and a friends kit also did not come with a battery and had to get them to ship one out after receiving our kits.

They are also misleading on the webpage as the batteries that come with the kit is not a 2200 mah high drain battery but a 1600 mah high drain. I got on live chat telling them I got the wrong battery and that the 1600 mah 18650 is the right battery as that is what they have in stock and they were forwarding the issue to technical support about the page stating 2200 mah.

Needless to say, I'm ordering another battery from another site and staying away from apollo.

The more I use my Vtube the more I fall in love with it. I'm finally starting to understand when to drip into my atty and when not to. I'm getting great throat hit and vapor each and every hit I take. I finally feel like I'm a true vaporer. Its like a light-bulb has lit in my mind. I'm starting to understand why people spend $150 on a REO wood mod, or why people save up for a Darwin. Its because we aren't smoking anymore. We're vaping from these machines that are the gateway to amazing tasting liquids and beautiful plumes and swirls of vapor that no cigarette could ever taste like or produce. This isn't just an addiction to nicotine anymore. I'm not standing outside in the cold, with a stubby smokey cigarette pressed to my lips, already 6 minutes late because I have to make sure I won't be withdrawing while I'm on the sales floor... No, i'm not being forced to satisfy this addiction anymore.. Its a pleasure now. :] This is better than I had ever expected. Those dinky little 510 batteries don't have anything on this thing! I love this. I'm finally getting that tight slurpy sound (when I drip an extra drop or two and take two fast pulls) that I loved on all of GrimmGreen's videos. I'm finally able to sit here and watch this huge plume of vapor rotate over my laptop screen. I can actually make smoke rings, and WAVE the vapor around with my hands, like igotcha does in his videos!! I <3 my life right now! :D

I shouldn't drain your battery unless you press the button. I just got mine today but from what i know about EE it should not use up any energy at all unless you push the button.

Should I be shutting the unit off by pressing the red button for 5 seconds when not in use? Is not shutting the unit off this way going to drain my battery significantly? Just wondering.
