I personally like Efest chargers along with Nitecore since they both run off their own power supply.

Excellent point. Unless we test or find a review on said external power supply, how do we know the quality of it? Not to mention the wear and tear on a USB port from the constant use.

Low or high voltage delivery from the PSU could have adverse affects on the rest of the electronic circuitry.

that's what I'd like to know....even when I'm not chain vaping the topside and now capo don't hardly last, but when I'm chain vaping bwahahahaha yeah I'm killing the batteries

I got used to the aegis legend's dual batteries and then even the asmodus spruzza single battery seemed to last a good while.....but the topside and capo barely last an hour and a half when chain vaping and then maybe 3 hours when normal vaping (though I still vape a lot for normal)
I took the topside with me on one of my 3 hour drives for work and it died before I even got to the work site...

Surely this has been addressed, but rather than digging through the thread, it seems you have some measure of inconsistencies in battery quality perhaps, so I will ask:

Do you purchase batteries from a reputable wholesaler such as IMR or LIION?

or are you picking them up at the vape shop?

Well the Capo is known crap.. So you can write that one off completely.

But I've not heard anyone complain about the topside..

Are the batteries old, or mismatched that your using?

Are your batteries dated, i.e. do you know how old they are, and have they been married since date of purchase?

Where you least expect it....
Have been reading this thread and have noticed some arguments being started within it. I would like to ask that everyone involved to please stop. If not, then I will have to take further measures to ensure things don't get out of hand.

Do you mean to tell me you haven't been calling me names? I'm not just making quasi-veiled references to your personal character; I'm also still calling you out for the fact you got caught with the unscrupulous pretense of having been judging entire coil types merely by claiming advanced coil builds don't give more than 10 percent better flavor when the reality is that you haven't actually even tried to vape on a decent set of alien coils before, after which a legion of trolls immediately jumped in to desperately try to obscure that. If I ever threatened you with destruction, it's because you're so funny that you're indestructible.

Finally, in my last post I never said “I don’t do this thing” just before or after I did it. I simply never did this thing and that's it.
i have to say i find claptons and aliens are poor on flavour too, even spaced i find them quite flavourless a simple spaced twisted coil gives a far better flavour

at the moment all im using are SS juggernuts and a tiger coils far better flavour,, but simple twisted coils are excellent for flavor

that reminds me i made a single a1 twisted huge beastie coil out of Clapton wire in the hope i could get flavour out of them but only thing it will fit in are me goons i hope, will test when the coils need changed
batteries have they been married since date of purchase?

batteries still have to be married? Thought that was stopped a long time ago?

I use Samsung's 21700 40T's in a Pico squeeze 2. I vape at 42 watts going through 9mls of juice a day and a single 40T lasts just about the entire day. Coming from Sony's 18650 VTC-6's, the 40T was a huge improvement, I highly recommend them for anyone who can use a 21700 cell.

That's nice to know since I have some on order. Hopefully, at my 10W vape level I'll get even more vape time. I get morning to after supper on a VTC6 or an HG2 at 10W running through about 10ml to 12ml juice a day.

Balanced discharge will always be a necessity with L-ion cells, at least until new tech provides a way to isolate cells and still combine the output for multiple cell use in a mod.

I really need to quit buying vape stuff at the moment....blew my budget completely out of the water

You may want to get one of those handy-dandy "Money Saved Banner" thingies...

(You can click on mine.)

I think of buying (yet another) NEW Mod...see that I've saved $12,000+ with vaping...and it sure puts things into perspective...

Tiny clarification. While Samsung does call it a 30A, Mooch's tests placed it at 20A 4000mAh, which is still fine for use. If a true 30A 21700 is needed the 30T is a better choice with true 30A but only 3000 mAh.

As for DNA chips, the 200/250/250c series are all very efficient, something like 97% (I prefer >95%, seems more reasonable). The 75 series are not as efficient, putting them on the order of most average boards out there at around 90%.
Actually, he rated them 30a if you don't run them to hot, that's good with 4000mah.

If you took the time to analyze the web site and how the reviewer conducts his tests instead of critiquing it, you will see that he mentions “The actual precision on this type of equipment is not very high (Within a few °C).” for his thermal imaging test. Non the less, the temperatures within a users environment could be different than the reviewers environment, but the data given can still be beneficial. If your only concern with a battery charger was absolute accuracy in temperature, then by all means cherry pick this reviewers methods and criticize them.

Tests conducted in a controlled environment, using the same methods provides a consistent benchmark for others to evaluate. This does not mean the benchmark portrays real life experiences. Criticizing these tests without providing a ounce of objective data is nothing more than giving the same biased opinion that you so strongly disapprove.
I was only referring to the simple fact that any reflective surfaces on the charger will very severely skew the measurements as (again) Mooch has clearly shown in his Minding Your Mechs episodes (and kept repeating in every episode despite you keep sounding like you still haven't noticed it after so many times...). This is regardless of the precision of the actual measuring equipment itself so, seeing as his numbers suggest some parts of the charger are reaching above 50 degrees Celsius when the reality is they are getting barely lukewarm, I believe my criticism is extremely well founded, to say the least. To give the UM4 a rating of "good" whilst giving the UMS4 a rating of only "fairly" good, and to do so without any further clarification of why, is equally as silly so I just read through your remarks as if claiming there are no colors in a rainbow, i.e., this is for the fairies.

Fully support dating batteries, either on the cell it self or on a running document. But a Sharpie is not always a permanent solution, depends on the wrap. Some last, some wipe within a day or 2.

This does not always work either which will depend on the dimension of your cells, and or the tolerances of the battery compartments within your devices. But I use painters tape with the date written on it. And have seen some use a label maker. I also have a running document of the cells date, and where purchased.
...and I’m finding you dead right here. I can’t even get paint pen paint to stick to those sleeves. I wound up going with writing on the bare metal cylinder and then using a clear pvc wrapper over that

Hi Dripster! Long time no see it feels like. Good to know some things never change.

To the OP, apologies. Sometimes.... Ugh.

I am really starting to believe he is not from Belgium as noted under his avatar. I think he picked that because the Nazi Germany option wasn't there. He figured he'd take ownership of one of the countries they invaded much like he does topics here on the forums.

Or just chose a country at random because why tell the truth to a computer that could be used for data mining in the future? (I do kinda agree with that one myself). I lie uproariously on computer personal information forms a lot.
If I had to place a bet, judging from the character of previous posts, I’d place him as a red state American. Possibly red area of a blue state, but most probably a red state resident. And pretty far right even for the area he is in. Also very politically active.
It’s a bet I would avoid making though. For all I know he lives smack in the center of Brussels.
