It seems apparent to me that most every 1* rating on there is a ploy by bargain hounds to force the price down. We all know that Amazon's prices fluctuate according to demand, so wouldn't you do the same? But that kind of detracts from the public spirit needed from reviewers for people to make an informed choice. I'm looking for a 2.5" HDD and every model has a few comments saying crud like "fell apart after six hours" or "failed after a couple of days, lost all my data. Avoid!". My favourite is "Didn't arrive, Amazon CS is appalling" like that is representative of the quality of the product! Am I meant to truly believe that there is no HDD that can be trusted? BS.
