Heres a little tidbit I found that you might find interesting/helpful

"There is no workplace or environmental standard for propylene glycol. FDA considers an average daily dietary intake of 23 mg/kg of body weight to be safe for persons 2-65 years of age"

taken from the agency for toxic substances & disease registry at Ethylene Glycol and Propylene Glycol Toxicity: What is Propylene Glycol | ATSDR - Environmental Medicine & Environmental Health Education - CSEM

Thats a whole lot of PG Daily not to mention it goes on to say it leaves the body in about 4 hours anyway

anywhere my broomstick takes me
I respectfully snipped to save space from the ops original post.......................

So, the other nite after a lovin session with my better half, I decided to read what the ingredients were in the bottle of "astroglide" lubricant..

No laughing yall..

anyways, i found the ingredient propylene glycol..

I was like:w00t: lol

this propylene glycol is in many products, jmho

I dont belive it to be a hazzard to my health..

the fda, uses smoke and mirrors and a twist on words to make the general public belive that propylene glycol is bad..

i dont belive the fda, and if propylene glycol is safe enough for my v jayjay, then its safe enough for me to vape..

jmho and my 2 cents lol

eta, if anyone has a bottle of astro glide, read the ingredients lol

For anyone new, I would recomend getting both types of e-liquid. I for some reason do not like PG, as I had this weird bout on Wednesday of Dizziness and short of breath along with a bit of a panic attack and a mouth full of canker sores. Im just getting back to my old self today....This is just me however. I have put in an order for VG. I certainly hope VG works for me, cause As a former smoker, it NOT just the nicotine for me. It was a whole ritual. Coffee in one hand, smoke in the other. First sip of morning coffee, first long drag of a smoke...and most important, the 5 minute bliss break from the mundane job of going outside for a smoke.

I just hope that this isnt one of those to good to be true things, however as I said PG for me personally has left me a bitter experience, and a bit resentful for spending the dough, however on the second hand when it comes to quitting, I think spending on a product that may work is no waste.

I hope when I get my VG this week, I can speak differently, because and the end of the day for a cigarette replacement system, this works wonders (if you dont get sick from it like I did)

The biggest lie told to people in this country it that if you quit smoking, everything is going to be wonderful from the very beginning, They don't tell you that certain benefits of Nicotine helps keep you from having sores in you mouth (actual research done on this). You not supposed have any problems but, a craving for that bad, nasty nicotine. Well the truth is most of the symptoms e-cigarettes smokers have in the beginning is from quitting smoking. I have been an e-cigarette user for almost 2 years and have spent a lot of time doing research on nicotine, pg, flavoring and other ingredients in e-cigarettes. The culprit is always the low nicotine of the e-cigarette causing the problem. I started when the highest I could find was 18mg (they claimed) and it was not till I got to 48mg that I was really doing wonderfully. I hung in there cause every cigarette I did not smoke was a success as far as I was concerned.

Classic symptoms of withdrawal and nothing to do with PG... I was on patches and had all your symptoms and more.....

For anyone new... Like you and Me
