SmokeStik carts take around 30 drops when empty. I find it best to do ten at a time and let it absorb for a few minutes before adding the next ten. It also seems to wick better after they've sat for a few hours or over night. That could be one advantage of using a needle, you could fill more evenly by injecting in multiple places. Not worth the trouble though, imo.

Well that's a tough call. Working with clears you get a feel with what is going on,

Here is a top fed carto that sat over night.

Without some sort of intervention, shaking, spinning, syringing etc, that air bubble ain't going away and depending on the position the filler there will burn.

I would have to disagree. I've been an e-cig user for a while and I've used quite a few different brands. Hands down the best one I've found has been Green Smoke.

While other brands might be cheaper, they're also much harder to use. Manually refilling the cartridge was no fun. I got e-liquid everywhere when I was refilling, and it was messy. I had to throw out a $75 shirt because I dropped the e-liquid bottle on it and stained the entire thing. Very frustrating.

The 2-piece design is much easier to use and GS's cartomizers last the longest of all the e-cig brands the I've tried.
I've also had problems with Green Smoke products, ones that almost made me stop using them. But I've found their customer service to be incredibly helpful. They'll bend over backwards to help. Give them a call, they do their best to please.

DON'T listen to anyone telling you to use a mod. Just last week it was all over the news that someone was using a mod in Florida and the battery blew up in his face. It knocked out his front teeth and burned away half his tongue.

Good luck!

I have to agree with this entire post as well. I started with and still use GreenSmoke (I say "still" but it's only been 3 1/2 weeks, LOL) Yes they are a little more money but it's a solid product, and SO easy for a newbie. My daughter is now using them too. I don't know why so many on ECF bash GreenSmoke and also V2 (another very good brand) but I suspect it might be because both GreenSmoke and V2 are not part of this forum's supplier list. If you're just starting out, please do not get some form of "mod". If you really don't like the GreenSmoke (and they can be refilled, I looked for a video on it...I will post it again here if I can find it), then go ahead and return but don't get talked into a mod.

greensmokes customer care i agree is good , to a point ! while i was using the product i became ill .. it WAS down to a ingredient in greensmoke ! THEYthemselves DONT even know whats in them .. the juice is made in china ! so when i started asking questions i was treat like a second class citizen ! which resulted in suspending my account .. and if greensmoke find out that your filling the carts they will do the same to you ! they are intended for one use only ! greensmoke are ,making a fortune out of people but as soon as you ask questions they dont wanna know take my word for it .. and did you know when you return a battery your having problems with they pass it on to another customer and send you an exchange thats been returned by another customer .. i know what im talking about :p

I'm sorry but this advice is based on fear and the uninformed. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Some of the "pre packed" brands are more dangerous than well designed mods with numerous safety features. Time to do your homework.

If you ask GreenSmoke what's in their cartomizers you get this answer: "Yes. The cartridge ingredients are propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine, and flavoring." Which is pretty much the same answer as any other manufacturer? I don't know about the refilling, as I have never tried to do that but I do know that some have been successful refilling theirs.

A year or two ago brands like Greensmoke were abosoulute crap and way overpriced for what they were selling. Things have changed since then and they have gotten a lot better. Because of that there is still a of bias against these type of pc's. At this time I am using the Mistic brand when I go paddling because it is a small pv. It works and at 12 bucks for a battery for a charger and a couple of cartos I have to say it is well worth. It is not what I would vape any other time but was convenient to try out on the water. I have it in a water proof case but if does it gets wet it won't be a big deal to lose it.

Anyway if you like Greensmoke there is nothing wrong with it.

This thread is about GS. They differ from the 3 piece 501's and the like. I was a little put off by the majority of people dissing GS. After trying several brands of E-cigs, the GS (no mods) produced the most vapor. It's a good design, and the batterys last. I just got my 15 flavs today, look forward to trying all the flavors.

The GS cartridges are so easy to refill, and immediately produce alot of smoke.

I have a LavaTube, but would not take it to the grocery store....

Check out the youtube video on "Refilling Green Smoke", if anyone has concerns. My refilling worked equally as well.

You can put an atomizer and a cartridge on a Greensmoke and it would be a three piece. Or put a cartomizer on any other brand and would be a two piece. Atomizers, with or without cartridges, cartomizers, and batteries are for the most part interchangeable. Vaping is also a matter of personal choice. If you like Greensmoke that's what you should use.
Good luck with the flavors and keep in mind that if you get one out of five that you like you are doing good.

Hey, I thought I had this all figured out! Thanks for the pic. I've had some wicked carts which seem to last forever but end up retiring them due to burning. I thought it was because I was running them too low or not allowing them enough time to rewick. Maybe a quick spin on a fresh refill isn't a bad idea.

What was your procedure on this particular one? Upright and open all night, or rubber capped and on its side?

The GS 2 piece, and refilling w/ whatever works well....2 for 2 (butter rum, and orange creme) are really good. Do you guys remember smoking cigarettes? We had menthol or non-menthol, what a gift to not only get rid of those ......ing nasty smokes, but to get an interesting substitution.

Forgive us noobies, we know not what we do.

I'm especially interesting in trying coffee flav's, peace out
