Actually, many would disagree with you, at least according on what's happening in my Zazzle store. (yes, that link is a shameless plug

People still like tangible and handwritten stuff. You can't putt an SMS on the fridge.

A SMS messege could be considered very unsufficient and you may suffer the consequences . WHen you send a greeting card you show that you care enough to put some time into selecting and sending one, this is usually appreciated.
