I've been using my Magma on my Fallen Angel since I got the magma, early last week, so that would be a NO.

Granted, I use a Kick in both my mechs, so I have the beauty of adjustable wattage and a little bit of protection, with a device that won't die just 'cuz some itty bitty thing on a circuit board died. If the Kick(s) die, I'll buy more -- $12 for a Kick is a lot cheaper than +$30-$100 for a whole new mod.

If the FDA "fixes" things so that electronic mods are either not available, or so expensive that nobody but Buffett or Gates can afford them, mechs will make a huge comeback. I have two, so I won't need to worry about modifying a flashlight, for which I have neither the skills nor the tools.

Haven't we thrashed this topic to death YET??? Everytime I turn around, someone whose mechs are gathering dust because they've discovered regulated mods is convinced that that means EVERYONE feels that way. We don't. I prefer my electronic mods, but they won't last forever, and I'm terribly concerned about what the FDA is going to do, so I'm getting used to using my mechs.

Ive been vaping with box Mods now for the last few months and my mechs are collecting dust,is the Mech Mod finished?

I think mechs as well as regulated mods, still have a place, and at various times, one or the other will be in vogue. I am seeing more talk of regulated mods now though. I am holding onto my two nemesis mods, but I rarely use them, since I got a regulated mod and I have USB power banks I use to vape with. However when those internal/non-replaceable cells give up the ghost, the mechs will still be there.

I don't own any mechs but that's only because I am not quite there yet. I just recently started to use a RDA on my box mod. I was wondering though why don't regulated devices look as good as mech mods? The craftsmanship in mechs makes me wish I took the plunge they are so dang gorgeous! Is it a price thing? Like why not make the various awesome designs we see on mech mods but make them regulated devices?

Well...I am still madly in love with my Reo....

Here's my lineup in no particular order...:

2 Provari Minis in 18490 mode
1 P3
1 Reo Grand LP
1 VaporFlask DNA40
1 Protovapor DNA 40
1 VaporShark DNA 40
1 Tan Mod v2 yihi chip 35 watts
2 Istick 20 watts
1 Istick 30 Watts

This does not count the mods which I have purchased for family...lol...sharing the love....um harm reduction.

My next purchase? A fully mechanical Woodvil as soon as Rob starts selling them....:D

My dream mod would be a Provape Temperature Controlled (Evolv board or not, either way), 40 watt, box bottom feeder...LOL oh yeah....that does not require nickel....I hate building Nickel.

Funny thing is,the mech i thought was the best was the Nemmy,Poliac, etc but the one i do pull out now and then is lower priced brass M16 clone, its heavy but built like a rock,The other mechs i have.the delrin plastic are wearing out and as well as the 510 brass threads.
I love my Hana mini 30 watt and the Istick 20 mini.I have the Cloupour 30 coming.hoping it wont explode on me.The Istick 50 watt looks like my next deal.
