Are tank atomizers ever really worry free?

I'm still on the fence about getting a kayfun lite plus v2 and playing with it on the mods I have or just getting LP Reo Grand. I use a smok PBC V1 right now. It's basically a large capacity Protank. It seems no matter how careful you are building heads, when you pick it up and throw it in you pocket and go somewhere or do something, most of the time when you pull it out it's gurgling and weeping. You have to take off the atomizer blow it out and wipe out the connection. I realize this is due to temperature change from riding in my pocket vs sitting on the table and bouncing around in my pocket doesn't help. Is this less of a problem with a Kayfun? Are tank atomizers ever really worry free or is this just to be expected?

I never could get my Kayfun to vape without weird dry hits (I can build and wick, I swear! But the Ehpro Kayfun didn't believe me), but it never once leaked a drop, no matter what happened.

I don't think most tanks like laying on their sides though, as this tends to expose one of the liquid-feed holes to air, which breaks the vacuum, and lets liquid drain freely from any other liquid-feed holes (at least, this is one of the only two times my Fogger has leaked on me).

So... I would say with an RTA, once you've got it down, leaking is less of an issue. But no, I don't think think anything that I know of on the market is completely worry-free.

The EHPro Kayfun(I have the same one!) has narrow liquid channels. I had the exact same dry hitting issue, until I took a Dremel diamond taper point and welled them out a little bit. On the leaking though, yea it won't leak a drop.

I have/had Smok RBCs. They worked, but they had about the same flavor output as the Protank 2. When I switched to a single Kayfun 3.1 I immediately noticed the flavor increase. I practiced on the Kayfun while I still used the store-bought coils. I switched and I gave my old tanks to others that needed them.

I don't think anything is "worry" free. When I walk, my system is upright. I take it out in the car and it is upright. Everywhere, it is basically upright. If I carry an extra tank, I park it, usually in the car in a dark spot. I am just careful. It is pretty easy to reset the tank.

Dry hits are a wicking issue. I noticed that I was drawing more air through the system than juice so I made sure my wick was long enough and that my airflow was a step less.

Its a hobby and I like more and better flavor. It isn't to hard, I find it satisfying.

Just get an RDA. No gurgling or dry hits or leaking.

I remember dripping in the early days with my 501. I know that isn't close to the same, but it did let me know that I'm not a dripper kinda person. I did think about a 3-D though. A bottom feed sounds better though if I go that route.

I am 99.9% sure I will ever use anything other than a reo. I am not one that enjoys "fiddling" with anything. Never was plesed with the Kayfun. Good luck to you in your decision. Let us know what you decide.

The Reo is sounding better all the time. The kayfun sounds like it would be a big improvement, but I know how I am. I do enjoy fiddling with things, other things like the cars, the yard, hiking, biking...etc. I'm never going to stop and think whether or not it's too hot out to stuff my hooka in my pocket or the fact that when I'm pedaling a bicycle down the road it's turning all the way upside down and every angle in between.

the ehpro kayfun is the only tank device i use.and ive never had single dry hit or leaking issue unless it was clearly my fault.

How so? From what I'm understanding if I stuff it in my pocket where it gets too warm and bounces around at all different angles that is a leaking issue that is clearly my fault. I am expecting too much of it.
