It really is true that you won't save money on bargain brands if quality is such that you whip through it in half the time. I'm mostly focused on taste and feel and ingredients and have been vaping decent quality for a good while, so I tend not to notice that aspect. But my daughter, who recently switched from a cheap brand to (reasonably priced) Ahlusion, is amazed and delighted at how long a bottle lasts.

Interesting that careful comparisons on that rarely figure in thrift-minded reviews.

bfrie - just curious, what are the vendors you buy your ejuice from?

Ditto. I would love to hear some specific vendors named for high quality juice. I've been moving from clearos to cartos to KPTs to RBAs looking for combos that give me the flavors I expect. All this time, it's probably been my juice that's been off, cause I'm cheap :2c:
MBV Banana Creme Pie tastes like banana Runts instead. I've seen enough testimonials to want to sample the higher end juices.
I have samplers coming from Vermillion River and Halo. How do they compare?

Edit: I DO see some names listed in this thread. Just want to make sure the dealers are reputable too.

I've been buying my juice from Halo. I bought their kit and even though I don't use it anymore (it's a backup), their juice is better than some of the others I've tried, including Johnson Creek, which many others seem to be so high on. The downside of using Halo juice, I suppose, is that their selection is limited. I was a menthol smoker for 20+ years, so I've only used menthol flavored juice. Fruit-flavored juices are for kids, LOL!

Another good thing about the Halo juice (for me, anyway) is that they're in my home state, so shipping and delivery is QUICK, 1-2 days.

Seems to be alot of lovers of Tribeca, so figured they were worth a shot.

Not that I'm criticizing, but a lot of the people recommending what they consider 'higher end' are new to vaping. What you consider good when you start (lots of in your face flavor) probably won't appeal to you when you've been vaping longer. I'd read through reviews, do some searches and check how long people have been vaping. Doesn't mean you'll like them too, but taste buds are all over the place when you first start vaping.

I haven't gotten around to trying that one out yet. I'm about to place an order for more juice, so maybe I'll put that on the list. The thing I like about the Mystic (my favorite) is the intense throat hit without that "chewing gum" taste. Some of the juices I've tried taste more like candy than anything else. I want something that's going to come as close to my old Newports as possible, and Mystic comes the closest so far.

Of course, there are MANY e-juice brands out there, so it could just be that I've not discovered one yet.

i only get juice from 4 places. murdock, ahlusion, halo, and the b&m i work at. at my work we have a huge bucket labelled "other guys juice" so i have tried nearly every kind out there. i liked 5 pawns a lot, will order from them soon. standard vape was ok, i could see why people like it. those are the only companies i am willing to endorse as high quality juice

heres my take on this- if you like the cheaper juice, PLEASE STICK WITH IT!!!!

i started out on higher end, more expensive juice, and now everything else tastes like crap (especially mbv)

whenever i try cheaper juice, i either get a strong, chemically, artificial, gross taste, or no flavor at all, plus it instantly drys out my mouth and throat and makes it all scratchy, just overall unpleasant. high quality, more expensive juice doesnt do this to me.

before i try a flavor one of my friends has, i first shake the tank. if it looks like water, i say no. if it has any thickness/substance to it at all, i will smell it. if it smells artificial/alcoholy, i say no. if neither of the above is true, i will try it. optimistically, about 25% of the time i will like it.

do you want to be like me? didnt think so :) just stick with the cheap juice if you like it, then you wont have a juice budget as high as mine :p

also, i have a quite abstract opinion on ordering juice. i always order the 30ml size or the closest they have to it when im buying online. why? simple: if i like it, then i dont have to reorder, pay shipping again, then wait for it to come since i already have a decent supply of it. if i dont like it, im only out $20 maximum. i used to spend that on cigs in two days! what do i care about $20 if im possibly finding a new temporary adv? plus i can always find a friend or family member to take it off my hands so it doesnt go to waste (none of them are as picky as me)

sidenote: all of my favorite juices come from places that dont offer customized pg-vg ratios, extra flavor shots, and all that other nonsense. they simply figured out the amount of flavoring and the correct ratio for that flavor so you dont have to try 10 variations to make it taste good. it just already tastes as good as it can. naturally they would change the ratios for you if you said please, but imho thats just like going to a fancy steakhouse and asking for ketchup (pg sensitive people are exempt from this). my only exception to this is ahlusion, but they at least offer suggested ratios on most of their flavors, and definetly dont offer "flavor shots"

It's all relative to me... I have no problem getting my all day lab menthol juices from Halo and Goodejuice at $18-$20 a pop...

If I really really, really like a juice... I'll go higher than $20 for 30/ml... Few have made this list... First one off the top of my head was ripple effect from vapesafe... the mad murdochs... I was thinking of trying one of those five pawns deals... but... plenty of awesome juice at the $15-$20 range... BWB, LJ's, Ahlusion, Halo, TW, Pueresmoker, AV, Vapetrik, Primevaping, Nitelite, Mooondrop, vaporbomb, hybrid creations, plumeroon, purevapes,TV, Goodejuice, LXE, W2V and so on and so on etc... these vendors and more are worth the $15-20 tag to me.

Very few juices I really like under $15 per 30 (non-sale) -

Seems most of them use a cheaper nic and base... the flavorings are predictable - like my own lousy DIY.

The juices I like most in the less expensive rage would be...

#1 WOW... LJ's E-smokes Signature Flavor E-Liquids : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

He's selling REAL juices by Upstomp, hooligans and JOE Castro for like $14.50!!!
That might be the best deal in town.

#2 Bluemist... and they are cheaper if you buy the 120mls... like $25 for that... and they do use high quality nic and base... same as some other vendors I know that charge significantly more.

#3 one of the best deals... is to catch Totally Wicked during a sale... very good

i was just told today by a customer that they ordered american tobacco or something like that from mbv.... and it tasted like black licorice. just more reason for me to spend a few extra dollars on better juice

Did they steep it? Looking at reviews and using it myself you do get a licorice taste until it steeps. Would I say it's the best tobacco hell no but I have many MBV flavors(not tobaccos) that are ADV for me. Just like everyone always posts taste is subjective and I have tried a few "high end" juices that just don't live up to the hype.
