I was wondering if there are 2600 mah batteries or even the t-3000 that will work in the provari? I mean my mvp comes with a 2600 mah bat, cant I get something that size or bigger to go in the provari and not void the warranty or ruin the provari
Kanefer,
Unfortunately, the Bigger mah batteries are longer in length, so without a spacer for the normal cap most won't fit. I have not used the televari or the twins, so i can't say if the bigger may batteries will fit.
I managed to get ahold of a 3300 mAh 18650 battery at a local b&m, trouble is, it has a flat top. So they are out there, but I haven't seen any with the positive top.
Provape recommends to only use the AW 18650 IMR 2000mah batteries, and that is all that I use.
Having said that, I know people who have successfully used the Panasonic NCR18650PF and NCR18650PD 2900mah batteries (button top variety) in their Provari.
Well I guess it wouldn't mater if I bought enough of the 2000 but it would be nice to be able to put bigger mah batteries in it. Looks like ill have to get about 14 of them to go camping lol
Quick question, are the batteries that come from provape protected or unprotected? it doesn't say anywhere and I want to make sure that when I do get some somewhere else that I get the right ones........(I will get the same brand aw imr high drain that provape says to use but I don't know if they are protected or unprotected......doesn't say in manual or on the provape sight anywhere or on the batteries that it came with
