Are these batteries safe for Smoktech Bolt?

I ordered these Amazon.com : 4pcs Panasonic NCR18650B 3.6 Volt shipping free 18650 Battery 3400 mAh : Power Distribution Units : Electronics

thinking they were protected batteries, but after reading carefully, it seems like they are un protected batteries.

Are these safe batteries to use in smoktech bolt or any other mech mods? Can these be used in Lavatubes/VV mods?

That's what I'm using in my Bolt right now, for about a month with no problems, the first ones I've had to last all day. And yes, they will work in any mod that takes IMR18650.
