Thanks,
I had two losses in the family and fell off the wagon for a few months  But I'm back vaping and determined to make It last. I purchased better equipment when I came back so I'm hoping the next time I find myself losing it I don't bum a cigarette... I just turn up the voltage.

Awww Hugs, Hunny. I'm so sorry. I pray for you to find peace.

We're here for you. If you find yourself reaching for a cig, just talk with us.

Here and back
I never saw this thread before, don't know how I missed it. Two years off cigs as of 12/23/09, member of ECF 12/14/09.

I have a few questions (still). First, I've always been a supporting member and have used PayPal in the past. It's time to renew my "supporting status" and ECF doesn't accept credit cards and I've canceled my PayPay account. Has anyone used MoneyBookers and if so, are they OK?

Second, what I would really like to see in a veteran thread like this is a brief description of what the members are using and maybe a wee bit of history. Like this:

First ordered the kr808 small and long batt model and at the same time the 510 with both auto and manual. Quickly went on to PureSmoker V2 (5v) and V2 passthroughs, XHaler from NHaler. Had a Thermo for awhile too. None of those worked consistently, too much tinkering. Ordered a PureSmoker Icon over a year ago and have been happy ever since with the Cisco LR306. Never did get past the NHaler 555 @ 24mg.

That would be nice. I recently found some old Joye 510 batteries and chuckled a bit while thinking about all the kits I went through before finding one I loved.

Whiskey, which is your goto device, your all day vape? Which atty? Happy with tanks?

I'm very interested in what the vets have landed on. There is the possibility that the vets (myself particularly) no longer experiment or keep up with the latest, I feel very out of touch with the new products and don't have the energy to delve back into the exploring stage.

Edit: anyone have input on MoneyBookers?

AJ.............I have run the gauntlet with devices over the past(going on)3 years. I am quite content with my Silver Bullet and Boge 510 cartos. The carto's seem to perform the best for me and they are inexpensive. I have been using Tonic Silverleaf Menthol as my go-to juice for over a year and a half.

Whis........I still like a taste of BWB menthol from time to time!:)

Hey everyone - I think I'm a little over 2 years, but lost track. My journey of vape has had plenty of ups and downs. As a heavy smoker for over 30 years, I started out (like I think many of us did) with the Blu. While it didn't quite hit the spot, it did get me researching and learning more and more, and I jumped to a 510 kit. From there, I went to the eGo, Phidias, Silver Bullet, BB, Omega, etc.. I think I ended up overwhelming myself with so many devices, so many parts and so MANY bottles of juice.

I went back to regular cigs - at first, just a couple in the morning and a couple in the evening, but before I knew it, I was right back up at a pack a day - PLUS I was vaping while inside the house. The net result for me was that I took an already raging nicotine habit for years, and intensified it even more. I recognized this and made a choice of either cigs or vape. I chose cigs unfortunately.

Fast forward to about 2 months ago - I had a unique (for me) experience where I got up, headed out for the first morning cigarette and I almost gagged on it. I stomped it out, went inside and dusted off my trusty Silver Bullet with a 306 atty, and I haven't looked back. A few weeks ago, I picked up a Provari, a couple of tanks, and I can honestly say that I have zero desire to go back to cigarettes. I'm not sure how much of this epiphany is because of e-cigs, or if I finally had my fill of cigarettes. But I am very happy to be off of the cigs for sure. A couple of weeks ago, I actually dropped from 24mg juices to 6mg (some 12mg), and it is still scratching the itch.

I do think that the e-cig has dramatically helped me this time around, and the wealth of knowledge on this forum is incredible. If anyone is new to vaping or new to the forum - bookmark this place and visit often - it's not only saved me from cigarettes, but it is a heck of a cool hobby too!

So this is where the cool kids hang out. That is, besides the EC. So many vets I've never met. I gotta come out from under my rock more often.
Glad I know where your rock is Hitt!:)

Looks like your back on track Motox! Keep going strong!

I love reading what all of you have to share. As someone who is just approaching the ONE year mark, this is not only fascinating, but so so inspiring! Thank you all. Love this journey and I'm glad to be on it with all of you.
Kat........The one year mark is the most important milestone you will hit. Congrats to you!

Well, it looks like I'm turning 2 next week. Started vaping before that, but didn't make the full switch until after I joined. I have my 2-years-since-last-cig coming up on 2/1/12.

The things that have happened since then are amazing. Remember when Carlos Box Mods were the paragon? Now, I have no idea how any one person can keep track of everything that is going on. I know that without this site I would not have made the switch as soon as I did. I wouldn't have come close.

Good to see some of the folks that I learned from still around. That always brings a smile to my face.
