Nope, afraid not VaporPete, if you believe in the God of Abraham, because the bible is inclusive of all people - Jew and Gentile. The Old Testament reveals the character of God the Father, The New Testament (up to Acts) the Son (Jesus) and the rest (under the New Covenant) reveals the Holy Spirit. All point to Jesus as the Paschal Lamb, atoning for sin of all that believe and receive the Holy Spirit. That is why there is so much evangelizing (the Great Commission). Far more learned men can explain this much better than I but you can see why the great concern is there for others. I think this is one reason Christianity, compared to other "religions" is so active on the mission field. I saw in some posts on the forum a comparison of all the bad things religions had done. Sure there are plenty. But compare the good that they have done and see where each falls in regard to providing food, medicine and education to people around the world. I think Martin Luther said faith without works is dead. If someone asks to see my faith, how can I show them?
