I find explaining the hardest thing about e cigs... Either ppl think its wierd or they wont believe its better than tobbaco...

I usually say water vapor with nicotine as well. I haven't had to explain it much yet. I vape at home and at work. I work retail sales, so my customers catch me doing it all the time. None of asked what it is... but a lot have asked me if "that c-cig really works?" Most I've come across are just curious as to whether or not it works. And some have pulled their own out and started vaping in the shop. LOL!

Glad to hear this about the bird. I have an African Grey who is a talking fool, and wouldn't want to endanger him. I actually dumped all my nonstick cookware when I got him, and went out and bought all stainless steel because of the risk.

Aww.. I love Greys. I lost mine in a custody battle. I was thinking about dumping all the teflon, but I found out that it takes over 450 degrees to release fumes, so I just don't leave any of it unattended. I'm slowly moving to ceramic coating, which is just as easy to clean. Make sure to move your bird if you have any non-stick coating in your oven and do the self-cleaning cycle. People forget that.

I'm really new to vaping, but I just love it already! Getting a lot of great ideas off this thread re "what to reply" when the inevitable questions occur.

Yeah, I vape inside at home. But, with spring/summer almost here, I'm sure I'll do some vaping with a cup of coffee on the porch ... for no other reason than it's pleasant to do.

I don't want to provoke my colleagues by smoking inside.
That's why i vape outside while the others are smoking.

First I just vape outside, but since a month all my colleagues allow to vape inside and it's no problem for them. my girlfriend allowed it too and now she's vaping too.

After 4 months of exclusively Vaping and kicking analogs to the curb, the only thing I miss about Analogs is actually getting up and going outside like I used to for a smoke. I do really enjoy giving the dwindling number of analog smokers I know a hard time about their nasty habits.

I always smoked inside and I am currently almost 8 months analog free and I Vape everywhere. Well when I'm at work I have to be sneaky because the big wigs just dont get it.

One of the biggest differences I have noticed is the smell or lack of smell. Cigarettes stink and the ecigs do not. I would never be allowed to smoke at work, but I have been vaping with zero problems. People just cant smell it, or if they smell something it is not offensive or harmful to them.

I say that I am not smoking, I'm vaping. It is just vapor like from a fog machine. Even my mother in law, who hates smoking, is ok with it it
