There is a part of me that thinks stealth vaping makes it LOOK like I'm doing something illegal. I'm a people watcher and if I didn't know what I now know, stealth vaping would look like someone is using drugs. If you act like it is not an illicit device why would people think it is?

Oh sure there will be those few, trust me I do know this. My neighbor called the cops when he saw me sitting on my step waiting for the mailman. Cop came and checked me out from a little distance away, said something in his radio then left without coming over to me. I kept vaping while this was going on. I will not treat my vaping as an illegal activity. Was I nervous? Yes. Since that has happened and I know that law enforcement in Philadelphia know what these devices are, I vape openly with no worries.

I use a 1000mAh Twist with the larger Vivi Nova tank. It is not a stealth device :). I figure I am blazing the trail for those that vape.

I just worry if it really catches on that the prices will go up...I just hope the goverment doesn't think of a way to tax it like they did cigs.

I would think the opposite would be more likely. If it's more common, then mass production would be more easily justified by more companies. This equates to a cheaper cost to build, and more competition in pricing. I also think that with more people working to create PVs and accessories, us consumers will see more innovations in design, resulting in better and easier vaping. That's my hope, anyway.

At first I was hesitant of vaping in 'non-smoking' public places. Now it's a non-issue... I know that it's not smoke, and if they give dirty looks - let 'em! Besides, you'd be surprised at the number of people that will ask you about it or even show you theirs ;) Recently sat through a movie puffing on my PV, and tbh felt kinda naughty.

My kid and I are Disney annual passholders, so we are there quite a lot. Just strap on the lanyard and vape til my heart's content!

Edit: Just to clarify...the movie had MAYBE 10 people in the entire theatre. I probably wouldn't have been quite so ballsy if it were busier.

I vape more or less everywhere. However, I am respectful. If I am in doubt, then I ask the owner if it's ok.

I think this is one of the most important things. I want non vapers not to see it as a nuissance, and to accept it. This will be much easier if we are polite and respectful about it. Sure it might be legal somewhere, but if we are offending people with it, they will just want to ban it as if it were smoking.

I haven't really vaped in public since I am so new to it. I was going into a courthouse last week and after scanning my purse 3 times they finally asked to see what was in there. Pulled out my ego 900 with the clearo and ended up explaining to 3 sheriffs (and all the people in line behind me) what it was. On my way out, one of them was outside in the smoking area and asked where I got it etc. I told him to check out this forum and hope that he did.

I’m a huge fan of vaping in public. That’s because it’s the best way to educate people around you and convert smokers along the way. Who doesn’t like to see another human being make a better choice, when it’s so easy and so much better?!

There will always be people, who will oppose vaping and every public venue owner can make their house rules. But still, I agree with a comment I saw in a recent article, which was something like that: „Vaping should be treated like coffee. If you’re allowed to have a cup of coffee, you should be allowed to vape. Being respectful enough that in crowded room you don’t blow clouds of vapor is just common courtesy.

So if you want to see the world changing, if you want to help smokers make a better choice, if you want to see vaping becoming accepted, go out and vape boldly but respectfully.

Cheers:)

So far there are only 3 locations that I won't vape at.

I don't vape at my job due to professional courtesy to them. I have been asked why not do it inside when it is 20 degrees outside. I simply reply that what would it look like to the cameras if I blew this out. At this point I take a nice long drag of my did wrapped at .9 ohm's on top of my precise 18650. Then exhale the cloud that I just took into my lungs. Then they go "oh, I see your point". Besides I like to step out of my job every once in a while.

Schools, they are schools after all.

Walmart. For some reason wherever I go to, I always catch flack from walmart officials. The higher ups. Not the clerks nor security nor anyone else. Just the corporate types that come from out of town.

It's because a few don't know about common courticy, and when it's a better idea to use a little discression, that it is now against the law to vape in a public building here. So just remember that your rights end where another persons rights begin.

Even tho' I vape, I don't think I would like taking my family out to dinner and have to sit in your cloud of vapor.

    Hello World!
I just started vaping 2 weeks ago, and quite smoking at the same time... Yeah!
I wonder if it's the same for you, but I still get out with smoker at break time to vape because I'm kind of shy to vape at my desk!
Even if it still smell something (mint or butterscotch at the moment), I don't feel comfortable to vape in public area.
I feel like an E.T. with my Provari and bought a eRoll to look a bit more low profile when I do vape out of home.
I live in Montreal Canada and I notice that it's still pretty uncommon to use e-Cig around here!
    Thanks

Congrats on the quitting. Vaping did it for me too. 2 months with no analogs, I'm jazzed on it. And I do vape EVERYWHERE, grocery store, work, car, office at home, the head (lol), I can't get enough. I don't know if that's good or bad, but I have no want for an analog, even though I'm surrounded by people all day puffing on the analogs. I don't mind the smell of the analogs, as that was one thing that kept me with them for so long, but thinking about blazing one again...just not appealing at all. Vaping ...!

I like to vape at home. My wife still goes out to smoke and of course she is a little jealous that I get to stay in where it is warm. Well she still loves her anologs for now but I am working on her.

I got my wife an e-cig when I got mine, and while she is still on the analogs, I'm widdling away at her and soon she will be off the wagon and onto the horse, riding away from the captivity of the analog.
