Are you vaping everywhere?

Thanks to Jersey being uptight about vaping, I vape in the same places as the smokers and watch all of the funny looks people give me. I do vape at work and encourage it as I converted two smokers to e-cigs. I am not uncomfortable about vaping in public where allowed. We have to get rid of the terrible stigma that are attached to e-cigs. Vape proud and educate!

Personally, I love to vape in public and around people who dont know what it is i'm doing. Love being able to brag about being analog free now for one. And two, I love being able to educate a smoker about the vaping community and its benefits. I'm still pretty new to this (analog free for about 3 weeks) But I take mine everywhere. My boss lets me vape in my office because I dont go out back to smoke anymore. I love to vape at bars with the smoker crowd because its a good chance to explain all this stuff to someone new.

I knew a kid in college who would vape anytime he could in every class. mostly just to show off that he was doing it. It was really annoying to me and I thought he looked like an ..... so now I only vape in public if it would be acceptable to smoke in the same areas. That kid really bothered me and I dont want to be a bother to anyone else.

I'm still pretty new to vaping, so I'm just testing the waters at this stage. I'm openly vaping in shopping centres, but when close to other people, I'm pretty discreet about it. I'm using a Smokeless Image Volt. When I ordered my batteries, I made a point of getting colours that could not be confused with a real cigarette (black and blue batteries, with blue and green LEDs). As I suspect is the case in most parts of the world, there is no specific legislation regarding e-cigs here at this point in time. Hopefully, it won't get lumped in with analogues in the future.

When at work, I vape like I smoked: outside in the smoking area. I've had a lot of interest in the Volt from the few smokers at my workplace. May convert one or two of them yet. :vapor:

Just to throw my hat in the ring: I'm in my first week of vaping and so far I've only been doing it where others would smoke... and my room. I'd be happy to explain vaping to anyone who doesn't know, but I wouldn't want to bother anyone. I used to be ultra conscious of smelling like cigs (in meetings or wherever else) when I smoked analogs. Ecigs allow me to not worry about the smell so much, but I still wouldn't vape in front those folks.

I'm in the same boat. Blue and purple lights show they're not analogs. When it comes to shopping centers and whatnot, I've used some techniques I saw on youtube for minimizing the exhaled vapor, as not to bring attention to it.

Yeah, I've seen those videos. I've tried it, but the problem I have is my lungs are so *&!$@! up after years of smoking, I'm having trouble holding the vapour in. I'm sure my lung function will improve over time, though.
