are you vaping to try to quit for good or vaping as a replacement for cigs?

i started vaping about 3 weeks ago.. started with the little Titan 510's, but quickly outgrew... (was still smokign a few analogs a day)... now i have my eGo's and i am still smoking about 3 cigs a day. mostly the ones when i first wake up and after i eat lunch & dinner. i am starting to really really dislike smoking now though, so i am pretty confident it's just a matter of time before i just stop buying that "back up" pack of cigs...

Try a stronger Nic Liquid for the morning. Maybe 36mg or you can spike it with Nic Base from Wizard Labs, or RTS.

Trust me a few hits of 40mg-50mg is a real eyeopener. Caution-The common consensus is that it's not recommended to go above 36mg so be careful and investigate on forum.

Wtg on everyone's lengths of being analog free! One day or 5 yrs, it is truly awesome!

They are changing that though from what I hear ..so does that mean we will be able to discuss more openly that we are using 3.6% now? vs that we aren't allowed to discuss anything over 24, from what I read Tom?

I think I am vaping still to help me, vs a hobby. but I want to lower myself and it become just a hobby! all the flavors there are :) especially to compliment my coffee in the a.m. when I open my eyes :) lol

My daughter asked me if she paid for the e-cig kit would I give it a try. If it didn't work it was ok with her. So I took her up on it. That was 7 1/2 months ago. I had tried everything except Chantix and I always went back to cigarettes. Not this time. I've been cigarette free for 7 months and don't have the slightest intention to going back. I would rather vape flavorless no-nic vg than to light up again.

I originally started vaping in order to stop smoking for good. I remember I got ripped off with this cheap kit and I was a little frustrated but I kept vaping it for a while until it paid for itself. Then i started buying more pv's and kept vaping. I realized that I was not gonna give up vaping because its something that I enjoy doing.

I started vaping as a way to cut back on my smoking and before long found out that I had accidentally quit smoking :)

Just remember it is a process and in the end it is more about the ones you didn't smoke than the ones you did.

Same here. I was just trying to stick to 5 cigs or less a day since they are $12 a pack here. My wife wasn't too crazy about my smoking either. Next thing I knew, I didn't want the cigs anymore. Another Accidental Vaporer was born.

So, I didn't take up vaping as a way to quit. I had tried quitting in the past, but I just liked smoking. Something about the whole process.

Vaping really surprised me since not only do I like it, I like it more than I ever liked smoking. Smoking, I just had my M. Lights, and would only smoke another brand when I had to. Vaping? Try a peach? Sure! Tobacco with a hint of cherry? Why not?

I think my wife wants me to stop at some point, but I'm not stressing on it now. I just started and would like to enjoy the ride for a while.

I started vaping to attempt to quit smoking, and I quit without really trying in 2 days.
I vaped to get my nicotine fix to start with, and then got into the whole hobby and culture of vaping.
I vape bout 2 or 3 ml a day 18 mg.
After a year it's become mor of a hobby, maybe someday I will stop, maybe not.

But.....NO ONE WILL TELL Me to stop VAPING :)

I started vaping to stop smoking, not quit the habit. Vaping is like a hobby now and I love it. I still get the sensation I did when smoking but it is better for me.
People do not do enough research into Nicotine and that is why you will still get a lot of people confused why an ecig would be better since it still delivers nicotine if you choose too. Nicotine in the doses we use in PV's is no more dangerous as caffeine. Nicotine is also not as addicting as most people realize. It is the thousands of other chemicals that go into cigarettes that are the most addicting part.
I have tried doing a 0nic juice and I can not do it. It is too airy for me. I have been doing the 15-18mg route since I started. I do not like TH but I do like the pull the the nicotine accomplishes. That is why I can not do the 0nic route, nicotine supplies the "pull" sensation I get from the PV. 0nic is essentially vaping flavored air and I just do not enjoy it.

I just got my friend into vaping and he said he is doing it to quit smoking. I asked him if he is going to vape forever and he said only for a "week or two" then stop that too. I asked him what he is going to use to quit vaping and he was dumbfounded. He has a lot to learn lol

I decided to try e-cigs in order to quit smoking. Did a little research and bought a kit. I smoked 43+ years and the last 20 or so of those years I was a 2 to 3 pack a day smoker. The day my first kit arrived in the mail I put down my cig, hooked up my new e-cig and gave it a try. I never touched a cigarette to smoke again.

I started with 18mg. jumped up to 24mg. then dropped to 12mg. Worked my way down over the course of 5 or 6 months from there to 9.5mg. to 9mg. to 7.5mg. then 6mg. and now I'm vaping 5mg. Painlessly. No withdrawals, and I'm perfectly happy with my TH, and flavor. I do vape menthol, however.

I do figure one day I'll ease on down to 0mg nicotine. Eventually. Maybe by the end of the year? Or sometime early next year. But I do NOT plan to quit vaping! I enjoy it far too much!

I am replacing Cigars. I do not plan to quit but may taper off nicotine to more herbs and flavor. I had a really bad injury to my mouth and can't eat or drink by mouth so I now have an easy way to taste things. I plan to get a large variety of DIY juice so I can experience tasting things again. I quite drinking and can't eat. I figure one indulgence like vaping will help mitigate the sting out of not tasting my good cooking. With all the flavors out there I will not get bored. I can fill a need for that missing sense. I deserve to have one vice. LOL

That is pretty awesome..
I smoked new ports for 5 years, started smoking crappy NJOY's last week... 3 days after the NJOY menthols I tried a single puff from a co-workers analog. Tasted pretty bad but a huge head rush of nic from it. I just ordered puresmokers brand eGO-c and can't wait for it to come in.
