The same unbalanced, no depth reporting template that I’ve seen in many E Cigarette articles; pitting a small business owner against the FDA’s misleading news release talking points and lacking research and counterpoints from a tobacco Harm Reduction professional or supportive physician. I suspect we will see more of these. But, now they can slip in a few uncontested one-liners from a state attorney general’s lawsuit where an E Cigarette supplier has been extorted! At least there’s no uncontested commentary from a biased doctor (who happens to be connected with a smoking cessation center). Lazy reporting at its finest!

This was a story on the CBS (KPHO - Phoenix ) evening news on TV. The reporter did a stand up. Also had video & interview in a smoke shop.

I have no idea why this reporter decided to do the story or why the editor let it air. I can tell you that it was done with the same, inept level of research and information verification that is reflected in 95% of their stories.

It was interesting to see e-cigs being talked about on the TV evening news.
