Aromamizer RDTA by Steam Crave

I've been thinking about ordering a couple of the black versions. The SteamCrave website states they're supposed to be in the NY warehouse starting today. Can't decide whether to order direct or wait for other online retailers to carry and sell them cheaper.

My wife finally decided she wanted to start using them over the subtank plus so I ordered two more 6ml SS from vapenw.com on Saturday and I received the order on Monday... unfortunately they only sent one. I contacted them and thought they were going to send the other out and then I got an email where they refunded the cost of one of the tanks. I went and checked their website and it showed out of stock, lol.

I recieved [...] Terrible machining. the reservoir is much deeper. Which looks to me like it would make for bad transfer of liquid to the wicks. Base is much taller, and the top of the device is both flatter than the Original and the part that I use as the tip, is also much shorter. So it needs a drip tip.

The build post (V-Deck) are much smaller, and the screw holes go all the way thru. The only up side, is that it came with 5 of the air flow bands in black, red, green and yellow. BUUUUT, all but one was 4 hole. Huh? And they were even worse quality!

Not money saved, but rather Money wasted. Who can afford that? Grrrrrr!!!

My clone just came in today as well. FT does not sell clones of the aromamizer, these came from focalecig.

While the posts are drilled all the way through, it's not a problem since the screws strip long before cutting wire!.. which is completely unacceptable.

Oh, & mine showed up with rust spots already. Yay!

First clone I've ever regretted. Thank goodness I have my authentic already.

Can you post a pic of your build? My guess is the wick is blocking hole(s).

I bored out the holes a little and it's fine now. Was weird though because my builds before had all been fine and the builds are virtually identical between the two tanks, one's fine the other had issues. No idea what changed. Thanks for the response, but enlarging the holes a touch seems to have fixed it.

Are the ones from vapenw clones? I got one from them but it seemed like different metal types. And had a h engraved in the chimney. But the code said was real

anyone manage to get a dual Ti coil done.

tried 24g ID 3mm, 10 wraps to get around 0.14-0.16ohm. but when i place inside the tank, it touches the wall.

24g ID 2.5mm, 14 warps single build. 0.14 if dual it be too low for my mod to fire.

any advice?

You could also go with 26 gauge.

I emailed Maggie, on Sunday night, who said they were three days late in getting their shipment expected tomorrow, so I could only order later this week.

So, I will cancel my order until the question is fully clarified. What is troubling is that both of mine have an authenticity sticker on the back of the box...checking...

No, I will not cancel the VNW order. I just checked both of mine against the Steam Crave "Authentication" at their website. Both returned, "Congratulations, The Steam Crave product you bought (xxxx &etc.) is original". One purchased on eBay the other from VNW.

My guess is that, for whatever reason, @dwcraig1 is RIGHT. "Somebody" did.

Hard to fake an authenticity code, I believe.

What kind power levels are you running with those 2mm duals, spaced or contact and how is your afc set up @JimScotty0 ?

@cigatron I am running around 40J on my SXM with a temp of 450F using spaced coils. The resistance comes in at around .107 ohms. What is "afc"?

I forgot to mention that my ejuice is between 75-80% VG and using Cotton Bacon v2 today, but mostly Pima cotton for wicking. With my style of direct lung vaping, it keeps up without dry any hits but I am not chain vaping. Maybe a pull every 30 seconds or so normally when actively vaping.

All I have so far is some 26g 316L someone sent me. Not sure of the ohms per foot. I did dual coil 9 wrap on 2.5mm bits and it was 0.3ohm. With 26g kanthal that would've been 0.5ohm. It vapes very well at 35W/J.

used some of that ss wire ...duel coil ..10 wraps ...2.5 mm came out 0.37 on the reading the mod and 0.4 on the ohms meter . it fires ok in the watts mode of the ipv4s . it looks like the batts are in series and its a buck converter ship.
I also had to raise the watts to 35 ..jes it vapes fine but to hot for me . I still like the single coil with 4 strands twisted for my style of vaping better.
sure easy to wind ..next to no spring back ..wound under tension .
