I did that the first few times I did verts, but I ended up just twisting the cotton, pulling it from top to bottom, and cutting off the twisted part and tucking. You'll just need some tweezers. It's way faster and works good
I tried this^^ method and with some fiddling and cutting I got it to work. Thanks, this is much faster!

Rayon is great for the Aromamizer but I also would like to recommend another wick that works really well if you have the occasional struggle with Rayon as I do... The cotton is called Drago, and it is unprocessed Egyptian Cotton. I'd say the flavor with this stuff is better than any other cotton by far and at least in the same league flavor wise as Rayon. Rayon will give you bigger hits and larger clouds but if you want something extremely easy to wick that is also an amazing organic cotton in its own right(better than Japanese)give Drago a try. All you do with this Egyptian is roll it up and pull it through... Whether you wick it tight or wick it loose it is still a good vape! While with Rayon if I make it too loose or the tails arent trimmed just so, Im in for dry hit city and get agitated being nicotine depraved! LOL, food for thought guys, the Drago is primarily used in the Dripper community but since the Aromamizer really is a dripper its a great wicking material to consider.

Has anyone found a replacement drip tip for the aromamizer? Mine gets warm when I use it a a lot.

A number of things can cause overly warm/hot drip tips. Not trying to be poopy here but it's almost never the drip tip's fault. Could be too much or too little airflow, too much or too little power, too high of heat flux, bad coil symmetry or underwicking.
Take a pic of your build (newly wicked) and shoot us some build specs, desired vaping wattage and airflow settings so we can help you get a more stable vape and cool that driptip down.
Not sayn that a delrin dt won't feel cooler, it will, but with a correct setup the metal dt won't get uncomfortably warm even at 100w plus.
It's all about maximizing the amount of vapor per watt applied that keeps things cooler.

Is this your first one?
Yes, my first dedicated RTA. Ever. Just did first build, dual vertical 2.5 Kanthals, 0.7ohms. Working on getting pictures uploaded.

To those that said 'go for it' when I asked about the Aromamizer, I can only say "Damm you, damm you all to hel! !!!"

Hey folks,

I picked up an Aromamizer today. Unfortunately the 2 post build deck Is stuck to the tank good and doesn't want to come off! The bottom plate comes off, but the deck is attached to the bottom part of the tank.

I don't want to force it as I havent even used the tank yet.

Any advice?

Thanks!

The negative post is one piece with the deck, so you can apply force to that one post.
