Im using a glass 510 drip tip, a little tall, but wow... I think my vapor is thicker and smoother than with the oem drip tip...maybe im thinking too much lol

Tried a cloned velocity rda today... I gotta say... Aromamizer vapes better without the hassle of dripping... Smooth thick delicious vape

Anybody any thoughts on horizontal vs vertical coils? I seem to be getting a way better vape using horizontal. Other peeps seem to prefer vertical so maybe I'm not wicking it right. Not sure what I could be doing wrong tho. Re wicked it a dozen times, lots of cotton, hardly any cotton and everything in between.
Same here. I originally tried vertical when I got this tank as many people said it tastes better but couldn't get any good vape at all and switched to horizontal. There might be a problem in my build but at least I saw some people reported the same thing and I'm totally happy with the horizontal now. Dual coil build makes satisfying thick vape but I'm surprised at how much liquid and battery it consumes. Gotta start DIY of liquid or I'm gonna bankrupt sometime soon.

I think the problem is a vertical is only wicking from the bottom of the coil. A horizontal is wicking from both sides. I've been diy juicing for a while now. Can easy get through 30 ml a day so buying juice was costing me way more than smoking ever did. Dead easy and you've complete control over your juice. Nic, vg/pg ratio etc

Just got my 3ml black and it is great. Tapped the holes and put the grub screws in but lucky enough the holes lined up perfect so no sanding. Got it running dual diagonal 2 strand twisted 34 gauge ni200 at .14 ohms, 8 wraps around a #6 machine screw which is 3.5mm. Flavor and vapor is very nice and for me the hype was real.

with diagonal coils both sides wick and its half vertical, mabey best of both worlds.

What are those drip tips?

Must know where you got those from. Like I have to know before I spend 12 hours trying to find them on the internets.

I dont do verticals either.
Wicking with Rayon needs to be snug in the coil. It's a mayor PITA to do with verts, so I dont even try anymore.

I'm still so back and forth with vaper's nose that I can't truthfully evaluate flavor in horizontal vs. vertical, but I do pretty much exclusively vertical in the Aromamizer these days purely because I cannot for the life of me find a way to keep the wick from soaking up dark cooked juice from the chimney with horizontal coils.

I do horizontal for a flavour reason for myself but I clean the chimney every time I refill the tank lol
Simply clean it with cotton buds when you open it and u will find how much cooked juice there is!
I had quite a bit of dark cooked juice on a vertical build too tbh. The top of the cotton changed the colour quickly. Also to avoid this problem I keep sucking after I release the fire button. There is a bit of vape coming out after u release it.

Yeah I've gone around and around with the chimney juice, we're old enemies by now. It just seems pretty unavoidable with this tank for me. I make sure I build my verticals low enough that I can cut the wick very short on top, and that way no part of the wick has any chance of touching any part of the chimney.
I tried my first horizontal build and it was a disaster. Didn't get the wicking right and the deck flooded. What a mess.. :-x
Did a lower ohm vertical build like I had done before and I'm back to happy vaping with it. I'll try the horizontals again, someday.
I did try trimming the wicking very close to the post tops with my verticals and it seemed to not make much, if any, difference for the chimney juice issue. Just something to live with as you said.

32g twisted horizontal dual coil around a tiny blue screw driver micro or nano I dont know the diameter of that small screw driver anyways cut wicks about a 1/4 longer than eDge of atty lay the ends flat on the deck to cover holes making a U-shape on the bottom of juice well wicks great oh yeah it's 11wraps turns out to be 1.01ohm runs excellent at 16watts flavor is amazing and roughly 4volts wide open airflow best build I've gotten with such a high ohms resistance great for lower wattage devices
