Stick the rdta in the freezer for 30 minutes or so then try unscrewing it. Don't ask me exactly how it works but it does sometimes.
It works based on the premise that when things are heated they tend to expand and when cooled they contract. Metal threads of an atty may expand some when heated and cause for more of a snug fit than expected. Tossing in a freezer would do the opposite and allow it to unscrew easier.

Well I finally got it apart, the threads are all spotless nothing wrong with them at all. I've never dropped it so nothing is bent anywhere either. I have no clue what's going on with this thing

I'm glad you got it.

I don't know why it happened. Wish I did.

Idk, this tank has given me some learning curve issues for sure. I never owned a rdta before so wicking it at first was brutal. At least I got that down now lol
Still the best $40 I've spent on a atomizer for sure, and once again I'd like to say thank you to all of you here who have helped me along the way

It's possible the there's juice on the thread that got dried up which can be sticky at times.

The freezer tactic do help in both aspect by shrinking the orings and also freezer the juice making it brittle and easier to unscrew.

Sorry to hear about your issue, @Bman123. It's strange that the tank got stuck.

Running claptons in this thing now, gotta say the flavor is awesome, but at 0.33ohms pushing 70w this tank gets HOT.
I'll bet. To hot to handle?

Mine gets warm at .5 standard touching duals at 30-40 watts. Still waiting on my 32 gauge to get her so I can practice Clapton wire.

Interesting. I'm really looking forward to it. The wicking process looks really easy to do.

That's actually the main reason I explored the RDTA. Simplicity in building and wicking. What took me 40 minutes to built in the Billow v2 only took me less than 15 mins to build on the RDTA. The wicking part being the simplest...just fluff and thin it and gently place it on the deck.

But what took me away is that the flavor it produces is rich and thick.

But to set expectations right...no tank is ever without issues. The tank is best seated upright as sideways may cause it to leak due to the nature of the deck and the side airflow. I've not encountered any leak so far but my tank is never sideways for very long. The airflow may not be align to the coil properly due to the thick orings but you can twist the top part slightly to align it without any leaks.
