I agree with you in terms of new stuff being released every day. For me, I just get what suits me and stick with it. I'm happy with the sx mini and I don't forsee getting any other mods.

For tanks, I wasn't satisfied until I came across the aromamizer which suits meets must of my requirements especially with the 2-post deck. I don't forsee myself getting another mod or tank for the time being :)

Similar to you, I do vape a lot and I have to move to DIY as well. My juice consumption is not as high as yours but it's close enough

Once you go Clapton there is no going back :) I only run twisted or clapton, standard build just dont cut it anymore.
I'm almost at the end of my twisted 26 gauge and once that's gone I won't be buying more. Clapton coils really are the best coils I've used for flavor and clouds so far.

I can't make the Clapton wire myself due to a disability I have so I buy it pre made from UD. It's $10 at the local shop for a 15 foot roll. I wish I knew someone that made it, I'd gladly buy it from someone and probably get a better deal on it price to wire length wise

I'd send you some but im down to about a foot. I need to order some wire beginning of next month. Im disabled too so I get a small vape budget on the first of the month. The Ud clapton wire is pretty good, it was my first exposure to the stuff. I have twisted 26 in one dripper, and I use twisted 28 in tanks. I got a 28g 8 wrap twisted .80 ohm's in my Hurricane and its just the best.

I hear ya on the arthritis, I had back surgery (micro laminectomy) 5 years ago and re herniated the disc they fixed last year, so I'm due to get a spinal fusion. I've got to go to my spinal dr October 14th and schedule my fusion. It's been a rough year tried everything under the sun to get it under control but it has to get fused

Most of us get denied the first time. And every year they make me see a doctor they chose to continue renewing it. And my doctor has to file paperwork every 3 months. Its pretty annoying. Its not curable, not very treatable and continually gets worse. Every time I get hungry my pancreas eats itself. There is zero chance it will improve.

The alignment is based on the orings on the bottom. However, u can rotate the top part of the tank to align the airflow to the coils

Actually the base screws in to same position even if you remove the o-ring, it does not get squeezed between the parts.
And yea, I´ve been screwing the tank open so air hits in the center.

The 2-post deck really should have been done like the velocity deck, with holes not trough the post. I´ve had even 24g cut by the posts :(

I was looking at the 26g/32g UD Clapton wire, I was wondering if it fits into the OG(3 post) Aromamizer deck? Thinking about ordering some..

I haven't received my 2 post deck yet but doesn't it come with 4 extra grub screws??

Just thinking we can screw the extras all the way through to the other side of the wire hole and the wire would smash on these when the outside grubs are tightened.

Just thinkin?? lol

Yeah, that is unfortunate they didn't copy it correctly.

I'm kind of disappointed in myself for passing on this RTA solely based on the ridiculous name I never gave it a serious look. Now that I have, it looks like it would be awesome, and right up my alley.

So I got mine today with the velocity deck. I'm sort of disappointed that it seems its really only good for dual coils due to the alignment of the air intake which seems to only be directly below where each of the dual coils would be rather than in the middle for a single coil. Also, the screws seem to be set up more ideally for duals than singles. I got the velocity deck thinking it was more for single coils, but I guess I was wrong.

It looks like they came out with the "velocity deck" simply to be able to have more centered dual coils rather than offset.
