I need to figure out a way to get the aromamizer to wick faster. That's a big reason I looked at the mutation x tank because its juice channels are huge and the cotton should stay soaked in it.

My aromamizer wicks like instantly. Only time ive ever had a dry hit was when my wicking was wrong

I do 80 watts minimum. I'd prefer to run it at 100 watts but I can't chain Vape it that high.
I use organic cotton balls so maybe I need to try rayon or something else. The cotton is always wet but it seems like its not feeding the cotton fast enough because the coils will sizzle like hell and the hit will have no flavor at the end like its going to dry hit

You would love the Mutation MT-RTA from reading your posts above. Some fella in the thread said he was pulling it down at 140w.
Not sure why anyone would need to do that, but it was working for him.

  • just got done dealing with steamcrave.com about getting a replacement part and they are totally cool. They sent me a replacement part and tossed in some free vape bands too. They sent tracking the next day and were a total pleasure to deal with. It makes me want to buy more from a company that is this awesome, I just wanted to share with you guys :)
  • edit - they even gave me the part free, i just paid shipping.

I ordered my first one direct from Steamcrave, with no problem. I ordered this second one from Eciggity because they were in stock, and ship quickly. VaporDNA is a good company to deal with, but they have some weird shipping schedules.
I think part of vapordna being successful is the project sub ohm edition stuff they sell normally looks cooler then the stock hardware.

What thread? Can you post a link for me please? I'd like to see a bunch of owner opinions on it

Well, I think I'm psyching myself up to do a quad vertical build today. I'm still not thrilled with the flavor from the aromamizer, which sucks because I love everything else about using it, so I figure it's time to go big and see what happens.

I know there were pictures of a quad vertical build in this thread, but I can't find them again for some reason. Anyone have pictures of their quad vertical build? I'm particularly interested in looking at the coil position and wicking.

My air holes just about passed up the coil so I took that o-ring off the base and replaced it with a 20 mm x 1 mm o-ring. All is well now. it has the tiniest black gap at the bottom of the tank section, just about not visible.
I also beveled both side of the four hole in the deck section but not a lot.
