Can anyone take big hits at 70-80w with out burnt hits?
If your getting dry hits you are using too much or too little cotton. Its hard to say with out a photos of your build. Don't ever pack it in to fill the deck. Get the cotton through your coil with a little resistance but not enough to pull out of shape. Trim the legs so they are long enough to just touch the deck and place them over the 4 holes. No force should be needed at all. I use mine on a mech at a theoretical 126w and not had any issues with a dry hit using a quad vertical coil

Let's say more then 3 seconds
My cotton isn't blocking the holes where liquids coming in
I can do about 3 seconds at 100 watts or 5 seconds at 80 but it's a really big hit and gets pretty hot when I do it.

This tank is totally different then wicking a rda for me, I don't think I have the wicking down yet but I'm getting better at it

In a moment of weakness, I ordered the 2 post deck and a couple of 2-hole vape bands. Interesting that they recommend the 2-hole vape band for the velocity deck seeing as, according to them, the air hole position doesn't matter. Here's to hoping that the 2-post deck lines up nicely with 2 air holes.

They want $14.90 for the build deck, my whole velocity rda only cost me $20 lol

They really need to get rid of the 3 post design and ship them with the velocity deck from now on. Just charge a extra $5 for the whole rdta.

With how close your coils have to be to the posts to fit inside this thing the velocity deck is a better design and much more user friendly.

I'm taking the twisted 26gauge coils out now and I'm gonna go with regular 24 gauge coils to see if I can lower my wattage some, still produce good vapor and make my battery last a little longer.

I've been using it at 70 watts all day today and have had no issues at all with my wicking so I think I found the happy medium here.

Thank you everyone for the help, I do appreciate it.

Well, I'm keeping that 3 post deck and my quad verticals in my first one :)

I just made my first Claptons and put them in my Cthulhu to practice for the second Aromamizer. Wow! Love these, too.

Now I need another high power mod. I just got an istick 100W. I was going to use it for my Estia to free up a Sig 100W for the second Aromamizer. But, now I want to keep the Cthulhu on it

I've got a foot long piece of clapton wire that a friend gave me from a pre made spool. I've yet to use it tho.

I just did 3mm inner diameter 24 gauge 6 wrap coils, in the process of wicking them now

It's vaping great at 60 watts, nice clouds and great flavor. Looking forward to seeing how long my batteries last tomorrow at 60 watts

What mod are you using? I need dual battery mods or charging batteries would drive me nuts :). I like both the Claptons and quad verticals at 60W. That's plenty for me, and its not killing my battery power on these 100W mods. I wasn't sure what those claptons would need, but 60W seems fine with good flavor.

You got a link where I can get that velocity for $20?
