It's a tip from someone and it works beautifully. Rayon absorbs/delivers faster than cotton and cotton stores/retain liquid better...so to have rayon deliver the liquid to the cotton...it just works. .lol
Save yourself the trouble and don't use GB. I just filed a PP claim on an order I placed July 7th and played email tag with them the entire time, still no product.
i dont know if anyone has touched on this but sometimes when i re-install my deck to the tank after a fill up the airholes arent lined up but ive found that when you have it all together and upright if i use a flathead on the +pos pin i can adjust the placement of the holes to the coils.

Fiber freak is similar to a Japanese cotton pad but is rayon not cotton.
I ordered one from Eciggity this morning when I received their email saying that they are back in stock.
Got mine today and I am not sure when this happened, but I had seen pics of the "Velocity-style" deck before and the hex-screw holes went all the way through. I wasn't too keen on that, but mine are not straight through. Was this a recent change? It seems as if Steam Crave is constantly listening and reworking. Not a bad thing at all.
Yes, the bottom tapped holes are the newest version on the V-deck.
Thanks, I'm getting another along with the nano kit this time. Steamcrave is sold out of both versions.
Had I thought about it or seen it I could have added it in and got free shipping saving a couple bucks.

can we get a pic? you mean the screws screw all the way through the positive and negative posts? that sounds like it would suck if so
No, imagine a hole drilled all the way through the post and tapped the same. The post screw has the ability to clip the coil lead. The new version is only drilled through "1/2" the post and tapped. The screw stops on the opposite side of its own post without traveling through.

The customer service offered by them is top notch. They are willing to listen to consumer and make attempts to improve their product where feasible.

now lets hope they figure out how to mass produce decks in which the air holes line up. I've got my own method that works just fine, but I worry about those that haven't yet got their hands on this and just tossing it aside due to this issue. that would be like throwing away gold before noticing it was gold. I gotta give the file method a try.
